April 11, 201114 yr I think this is the first time I've ever been interested in Beyoncé! Sounds amazing thus far.
April 11, 201114 yr This actually really sounds like it could be amazing. I actually rather liked 'Diva' so any comparisments with it dont bother me. Sleigh Bells/Pon De Floot/etc though? I really hope she gets this right and it doesnt end up being an uber-dissapointment.

April 12, 201114 yr Beyoncé Recruits 200 African Dancers For Video She's also re-recorded track Get Me Bodied for the Let's Move charity... Beyoncé is said to have hired 200 African dancers for her forthcoming music video. Music Rooms reports that the former Destiny's Child singer has recruited the help of the dancers to give her next promo a native feel. It is thought that Queen B flew the dancers over to Los Angeles for the video shoot, which is for the first single from her brand new LP, rumoured to be released in June. Beyoncé is allegedly learning some authentic dance moves from the 200-strong troop, which she is hoping to incorporate into the choreography for the promo. In other Beyoncé news, the Single Ladies hitmaker has re-worked her track Get Me Bodied for the Let's Move initiative - a campaign that battles child obesity. The original song, which featured on Knowles' 2006 LP, B-Day, will be renamed Move Your Body in aid of the charity, backed by Michelle Obama. The new version of the tune includes the lyrics: "Don’t just stand there on the wall, everybody just move your body.” Reports also suggest that Beyoncé will be putting together an exercise dance-routine to go with the song, which will feature in the video for Move Your Body.
April 12, 201114 yr Who wrote this useless $h!t: Not no corny Lady Gaga $h!t either Fierce. No idea she had new single out. Sounds way too interesting and promising, better be great (not that she has ever disappointed me). I only hope the African influence was in the song and not the video.
April 12, 201114 yr Author I only hope the African influence was in the song and not the video. With the African dancers, I'm going to assume that the African influences are going to be both in the song and the video.
April 12, 201114 yr With the African dancers, I'm going to assume that the African influences are going to be both in the song and the video. Hopefully. If she manages to make a slightly more club-friendly version of Diva with African touch. Orgasmic.
April 12, 201114 yr Author From Pulse: For real. Can't really say how, and I only heard it once, but there's a lot to take in. Whoever said it will take a few listens is right. I don't really agree about the reports of her hardly singing. There's this really cool bit where it all slows down with lots of harmonies, and it sounds a bit SIA-ish and then she does this kind of yodel-ish bit where she sings "do annnnythhing for me" and does this very Destiny's Child kind of vocal run. The chorus is just mainly..."who run the world? GIRLS! Who run the world? GIRLS (Girls!)". Sounds nothing like on the radio. Mix between very grimy and very tribal. Also the Pon De Floor bit features quite heavily, especially halfway through the chorus if my memory serves.
April 12, 201114 yr It sounds like it will initially take time to grow, but i'm sure we'll end up loving it.
April 12, 201114 yr Author And I got the tea on Beyoncé's 2nd single.. But I don't spill my tea at all!!it's a #1 for sure!!! RT “@luel14: @B_NERD Does the first single sounds like a number 1 hit?”The critics expecting to hear another Single Ladies/Crazy In Love type song will be in for a shock! She's not playing it safe!My source corrected me... The single "GIRL" will drop WITHIN 2 weeks!!!No she's not RT @ElLaMonte: @B_NERD is it true that shes rapping in the song?http://twitter.com/B_NERD

April 12, 201114 yr How can you go from Too :???: What? In the first tweet, he's saying that he thinks it's a definite #1. In the second tweet, he is saying that it is going to be released in two weeks. That should clear up whatever you thought it meant.

April 12, 201114 yr Author ThatGrapeJuice have a LQ cut of the song, but they aren't planning on leaking it (thankfully). Beyoncé's single is a risk. It doesn't sound like anything on the radio but the beat is crazy. The sample is very direct thoughit has a lot of repetition. She says "girls! who runs this mother?" over & over in the chorusit sounds nothing like those records! It's World Music meets Dance.I'm not leaking this Beyoncé's single. The stans can relax...It's low quality though! I've been told to listen but not shareBeyoncé did a literal sample of Major Lazer's Pon Di Floor but added serious bass to the intro & some synths. Bass!Lyrically it doesn't do much but the production will make it a club hit for sure
April 12, 201114 yr Author Beyoncé is back and once again has everybody at the edge of their seats. Log on to Twitter and Facebook to see the unbeilevable hype for her new single 'Girl.' Little about the album is known, no title, no release date and no new management have been announced. We know the video is being shot and the Diva has a new look that was teased in a twitpic on the set of 'Girl.' Luckily Boomlikean808 didn't have to wait too long with anticipation, I got to listen to the new single that is sure to set every club on fire. As soon as the intro to the song hits I knew that the track would be serious. Instantly you recognize the Major Laserz sample from the infectious club hit 'Pon the Floor' which was also sampled by Dirty Money on the Swizz Beatz produced 'Ass on the Floor.' There is no comparison between the two, Diplos (Chris Brown Look At Me Now, M.I.A. Boyz, Paper Planes) production makes Swizzys seem like Childs Play. And y'all know I love Swizz Beatz. 'Girl' is an absolute killer. Beyoncé has rose the bar so high that she will even have a difficult time surpassing it. In a day where everything (including urban music) is in some way related to Euro Pop, Beyoncé has a chance to change the sound of radio. The song is massive enough to make up for the lack of authenticity in 'Diva' & the bromidic 'Get Me Bodied' & 'Single Ladies.' Infact 'Girl' is all 3 of those songs rolled into 1 on steroids. The hard hitting production and aggressive vocals come with an equal amount of aggressive lyrics on the girl power anthem. Beyoncé asks "Who run the world?" before answering "Girls do!" The cocky singer even shouts out her hubby, singing "Imma bump in my Jeep/ listening to Jay-Z." Bey deserves a big fat A+ for 'Girl.' And this isn't coming from a Beyoncé stan, she was counted out in my book for the simple fact that Pop music has completely taken over almost every genre. She once again set up her own lane to drive in. Even though the track is as gay as a Barbara Streisand concert, its sure to please any music fan, straight, gay, male or female. And for the first time in history i'm excited to hear a Beyoncé album. Lets hope Diplo got ahold of majority of the album. Rihanna, Britney, Gaga & Beyoncé are going to make the next 6 months in music very interesting. We're witnessing history people.
