I don't understand why links can't be posted? This is a discussion forum, and as long as there's no links to illegal downloading posted, it's fine...

Because the links are to copyrighted material that should not be distributed. Beyoncé clearly doesn't want the song out, so we should respect that and not post links everywhere for people to listen to.

Tbh, it's everywhere online. But there are many of us reporting links to Sony and Columbia who are working fast to remove whatever they can.

 

I will never understand fans who do that :lol:

Okay, leaking a HQ version of the full song could possibly maybe hurt her sales (and yet again we have many and many examples of tracks leaked months prior their global success), but reporting links to LQ snippets... lol

If anything those snippets create some hype for her forthcoming releases, it won't do anything to her sales.

A HQ snippet has been leaked and there are snippets from the bridge, chorus and one of the verses out there, so it's not just a 5 sec LQ clip of it.

I think as long as nobody posts a link to a filesharing website (Mediafire, Megaupload etc.), then you can post the link - as Bert said, it creates discussion and hype for the record!

Who's going to download a 10-second snippet anyway? I'm going to buy it once the song's on iTunes, then I'll buy the album once that's been released, so me looping a clip on the internet isn't going to kill anyone.

Absolutely agree with what you are saying but it's so hard to avoid illegal downloading. As far as youtube have a link exactly next to the song where you can download it in any format you want what more can you do.

The clip sounds quite good, not as amazing as it has so far been made out to be though :(

The second player is a different song. It's called 'Never Let U Go'.

I'm glad the second one isn't 'Girl' (or whatever it may be called)...wasn't as keen on that one.

Sounds decent and reasonably promising. Will wait to make full judgement until I've heard it in full but so far I'm impressed.
