April 19, 201114 yr http://www.rap-up.com/2011/04/18/new-music...-run-the-world/ ^^ This doesn't sound good. Why has Beyonce gone and ruined a great song, "Pon De Floor" I'm not into this, hopefully it won't be much of a chart hit because it doesn't sound "fresh". Hoping it's only a demo too LOL, are you being srs!? This is one of the "freshest" songs of the year, along with 'On The Floor' - at least Bey's bringing new elements into her music rather than churning out the same stuff over and over. I LOVE it, naturally! Will be fooking huge and if this is only the demo then the polished version will be fantastic. :D
April 19, 201114 yr Author Radio stations are now being told to stop playing 'Girls' by Columbia Records.
April 19, 201114 yr I was so excited for this, but honestly, its at the same level as 'Diva'. It is so annoyingly repeatitive, and just very messy. It is very annoying at the minute. I sort of get the 'Drummer Boy' thing someone else mentioned, I hated DB at the start, then I grew to like it and then looking back my first impression was right. I think if this grows on me, then I can see the same thing happening, it is just too annoying to like for a long amount of time. Atm I find it awful.
April 19, 201114 yr A version claiming to be the final radio edit has now leaked. It is basically exactly the same as the YT version posted on here but it samples 'Pon De Floor' a bit more with the high stuttery bits too. The download link is on 'Alis Blog', not much difference at all and I don't hear different lyrics, but I hear more sample used.

A fan decided to mix the demo and the 'Pon De Floor' sample. The official version hasn't been released yet.

How do you know this? I think it sounds better with the Pon De Floor sampled even more. Heres that version: RretzfgMA4Q&feature=player_embedded#at=55
April 19, 201114 yr Author How do you know this? The person who did it posts on BWBoard, which I post on too. It's the same situation with the poster that everyone was reporting as being a promo poster. A person on that forum made it and then it spread like wildfire. I just hope that Beyoncé's team hurry up and release the official version.
April 19, 201114 yr If it's only the demo thats leaked then I'm well and truely excited for the final version as I am LOVING whats leaked so far. BRILLIANT.
April 20, 201114 yr Going by this and the Sugababes song of the same title, people should avoid releasing songs with this title as the lead singles. :( It's not quite in the same league of awfulness as 'Single Ladies', 'Diva' or 'Video Phone' but still unacceptable.
April 20, 201114 yr I don't know what most of you are on...I think it's incredible! I can see it being pretty huge tbh...really DON'T think a flop is on the cards as some people have said. Hopefully I won't be proven wrong, love it! Can't wait for the final version now.
April 20, 201114 yr Author It definitely won't flop, it seems to be doing what 'Single Ladies' did when it was first released: have a lot of people hate it, but then everyone slowly started to love it. Here is what a person whose heard the official song said about it: The song is 4 minutes and 52 seconds. I think the version I have doesn't turn the song on until 6 seconds, though, so my times will be 6 seconds off. Beyonce doesn't exactly start singing the song until 1 minute and 28 seconds The beat starts with an alarm ringing but it isn't the sound of an alarm. It sounds like electricity pulsating at 6 seconds and a slight sound of drums being beat. At exactly 12 seconds these guys start screaming or chanting, "Ahhhh" or "rawww" or somethin'. The beat, Major L., starts at 21 seconds and stops at 35 seconds. At 35 seconds it starts saying "Girls, girls, girls, girls, girls........." over and over. A new beat starts at 50 and it's drums or somethin' and the Queen Bey starts sayin, "GIRLS! We run this motha!" Beyonce starts the "Who run the world" @ 1 minute and 6 seconds! The beat with the drums gets fused with the Major L. beat at 1 minute and 13 seconds! The BEAT is the KEY! She starts singing /ralkin/rapping at 1:28!!!!! The beat makes the song catchy and I think the beat will sell the song. The melody and vocals are the same as the demo however.
April 20, 201114 yr I'm so excited for this. I haven't listened to the leaked versions so far, so I hope the real version leaks soon so I can finaly here it. I'm kind of tired of the whole "girl power" thing though, I guess I'll have to pay no attention to the lyrics. But go Bee :cheer:
April 20, 201114 yr The beat better be good to save this. Everyone I have talked to, who have heard it HATE it.
April 20, 201114 yr Video teaser: http://www.beyonceonline.com/us/brevolutionteaser Beyoncé on a horse = uber excitement.
