Posted April 18, 201114 yr Did anyone else watch this tonight? Not too bad ... a sort of sanitised Saw. Glad they're not drawing it out the way they did Marchlands (although that was good - it didn't need five weeks.) Final part tomorrow. Kath
April 18, 201114 yr I watched it but I'm not left overly interested in how it's going to end. I realised what was going on about 5 minutes in (although maybe it was supposed to be really obvious?) and so the rest of the hour was rather predictable.

I realised what was going on about 5 minutes in (although maybe it was supposed to be really obvious?) and so the rest of the hour was rather predictable. I think the 'chain' thing was meant to be obvious. My husband got it at about five minutes past nine (I was slightly behind as I've been eating home-made Baileys & Chocolate Chip muffins washed down with a little Baileys!) I think the main 'thrust' of the drama though is how Sally is going to extricate herself from it and break the chain. Obviously they've all been told lies about their intended victims - the only thing that makes them deserving of being killed is greed and the fact that they'll have killed for that greed. Kath
April 18, 201114 yr All I know is that, rather than watch the second half, I'd FAR rather spend an hour with Baileys & chocolate chip muffins. I'm expecting Sally's fella to kill the next guy in line which will leave us with Sally facing being murdered without actually having gone through with it - but we'll see!

Its out of her control though (and her fella's) as he's now hired a third party to kill this Bury fella so they've got to get to him. There's nothing else on TV tomorrow though so I think I'll stick with it. Kath
April 19, 201114 yr Author Dear LORD. That was as predictable as the first half. It was total bollocks! It didn't add up either! Still ... it was better than that drivel Candy Cabs. Kath
April 19, 201114 yr I know! Firstly there was a big deal made about her fella's scars right at the beginning only for them to not be relevant to the story at all. Then there was the guy sent to kill Sally who was completely excluded from the explanation in terms of why he would be involved. Hugely disappointing TOSH. She should have stuck with Ugly Betty.

The guy who was sent to kill Sally was the man himself - Reith / the Solicitor. He was completing the circle. It was mildly diverting and at least it didn't drag on for weeks. Kath
April 19, 201114 yr Oh was it! I thought the guy who she hit over the head with the wrench thing was a different person for some reason. I'd clearly stopped paying proper attention by that point then.
