This man is completely right. People have lived with alcohol and cigarettes for too long however, there would be riots if they were banned :(.

Not going to lie, if I can get Friday off work, the first thing that I'll be doing is going down to the highstreet (it's being closed off!) and having a drink.

I'll be popping a few cans of cider on Friday to raise to our fantastic future King and Queen. Hell even may buy a bottle of bubbly!

Looks like I chose the right month to give up booze and fags.

I'll be too busy locking myself away from the commotion on Friday and doing the complete opposite of celebrating an inbred waste of taxpayers money wedding.

There's far more wrong with today's society than people getting overly drunk of their own accord.

If they ban alcohol, nights out would be so very dull :(

Ok so someone who takes some sarcastic joke on Loose Women of all things seriously represents society? Yes some people drink too much and throw up but that's never changed (unless you judge everything by what you read iin the paper)

 

You don't addicted to alcohol after just a couple of shots of it and it doesn't damage your body as quick as many illegal drugs. Also I thought binge drinking would be like 10 pints or something but apparently its far less than that. People have been going on nights out once a week or so for YEARS and there's always been some twats but apparently now its some modern age problem? I suppose we should all sit indoors and moan instead? Also just because people shove it everyone's faces and say that everyone is excited about the royal wedding doesn't mean they are, infact I don't know anyone who is so its an excuse for me turn the TV off rather than 'binge drink'.

 

Or maybe I'll have a few and take my top off to a load of people half my age on an internet forum's chatroom instead!

'Binge drinking' has been on the go all my adult life and for many years before that I should think. It's just there weren't any 24 hour news channels with space they needed to fill back then.

He's got a point though... I'm just wondering how many of these Royalist "street parties" are just going to descend into fighting, general lairy-ness and puking into other peoples' gardens.... It's all very well to have these "parties", but, let's face it, it's not just the people living on the street that are gonna come to it, they're gonna be a magnet for every Chav or ASBO-teen in the area to come and get loaded... And, here was me thinking we were supposed to be doing something about kids hanging around street corners getting wasted on White Ace or other such vile "cider"....
