I've got to try and remember to download it before sunday!
love love is number 10 on the irish itunes so it should debut top 40 over there this week and hopefully top 10 the week after
Other iTunes positions:

#34 - Italy

#62 - Germany

#32 - Denmark

#64 - Netherlands

wow without any promo over there either!

Ya its off to a flying start, #17 in the UK midweeks today and should fly into the top 10 in tomorows midweeks update.
I have just listened to the live version there a few times and the chorus is so damn catchy, i think this is gona get better and better with more listens and its certainly better than kidz, i can see why some people have said its a bit like the flood and kidz, its not as good as the flood but i would say its better than quite a few if not most of the progress tracks with the exception of the flood and eight letters.
I hope we'll get the video soon, they filmed it yesterday. Too bad the song hasn't been included on this week's playlist, I don't know if it's getting any airplay?
A great start chartwise considering it has had zero airplay, its very hard to find it on Youtube to listen to and no video.
yA,considering no airplay, videp etc its doing great, is the phyisical out or is it been released monday?

yeah i cant understand why radio 1 havent playlisted it this week :/

hopefully the video will be released monday, and ive been hearing rumours that the physical will be released on the same week as the movie.

its starting to fall on itunes tho, which is worrying.. cant understand why when it is not on Progress and it is also appealing to music fans in general.

I'm sure a lot of people don't even know that TT have a new song out. It's only just debuted yesterday, has no airplay or video, so there's nothing to give it that additional push. I think it's doing great considering.
Its not as instant as "rule the world" and sounds more like the stuff off progress.

Love, Love is an OK song. I'm afraid that is all I can say of it. Better than Kidz but really isn't up there with Patience, RTW, Shine, UAN, Reach Out, or in all honesty about another dozen songs that they've done. I don't get the over-the-top 'Love' that 'Love, Love' is getting.

I suppose I'm a bit biased because I love eighties stuff and it has a very eighties sound to it.

On another note I do not know what they are playing at though why release a song in midweek, no airplay, no cd release, nothing. Everywhere you look you read comments like "I haven't heard it yet". How do they expect to sell copies if people aren't hearing it?

Perhaps they just don't care?

Maybe they thought that they'd see what just the Take That fan-base buying would do (I must admit - if ALL their fan-base had bought it then it would easily be looking at top 3 this Sunday - maybe not all their fans like it).

They'd not done a video at the time - and I imagine the song was one of those 'left over' tracks that they already had from Progress. Apart from their time 'performing' it on Wednesday - they've lost nothing. Speaking of the video - it'll probably be interspersed with scenes from the film - so I imagine that is something that money is saved on.

I think I concur with your last assumption - I don't think they care too much about the chart position. Which is a good job really as it isn't going to do much.

Is there going to be a physical cd single for this song? cant find anything listed on hmv or amazon at the moment.

I can't see the point in them releasing one. I know some people like the have the physical copy in their collections but it won't make any significant difference to its chart position (it'll be getting enough publicity when the film comes out I suppose). Is it worth the expense to produce the physical do you think?

Kath

Some acts can be big phyisical sellers, take that are one of them, it could potentially sell around 10,000 which is nothing to be sniffed at and could make a difference to its chart position.
