Great semi! There was only one song I didn't care for that much, and I still rated it 7/10!

Not at all, it's not a song from a genre I have any aversion to at all. I'm not the indie hater here, I only strongly dislike it when it's headache inducing, but the same could be said from songs from every genre! Usually when indie songs pop up in the main contest I rate them 7 or 8/10, often higher and it's certainly not unknown for me to give them points. I've sent a couple of borderline indie entries myself :lol:

Where do the mp3s come from? If people are going to dislike my track, I'd like them to at least dislike it in decent quality. :D

I had to request two mp3's as I couldn't find them anywhere, but I found your entry in 192kbps which I think is decent.

Fair enough, sorry to sound all picky. It's just I could have upped it in about a minute to save you having to hunt them all down. Anyway, no worries as you seem to be getting hassle from every angle! :D

Well, naturally I would have gone for 320 with artwork as I'm just a bit like that but 192 is okay and I'm not about to cause Ghosty extra hassle once he's sourced them and uploaded.

 

I was more just wondering how it normally works for the main contest as I know I'd be more likely to listen more often to something in 320 than if the mp3 was in 128 and then the country sending the track in 128 would lose out through no fault of their own... anyway, it's not really relevant to this thread so I'll shush.

A couple of the entries are in 128, but to me the quality sounds fine, and I'm usually majorly fussy when it comes to spotting sound flaws :lol:
