The followup to the hit 'Jar of Hearts', I really like it, it's beautiful and the video's great too. I love how it builds up gradually in intensity as the song goes on.

I'm not sure the song's a hit but that video is a bloody wonder. What a visual treat! She's very watchable too.

I don't know, but it really should be. I'd imagine it would be at least a Top 20 hit - it's not too different to say 'Someone Like You' (in fact I think it's better personally).

I listened to this a few weeks ago, along with a couple of her other new songs, but they didn't hit me like 'Jar Of Hearts' did :( Hope that gets a UK release, even if it will be nearly a year late.

She's had a couple of promo singles too, neither are as good as JOH. Anyway, Arms is pretty good but again it's nowhere near the high standard set by JOH. I so hope JOH does get a release, Radio 1 and maybe even Heart would love it I think so it would do at least as well peak-wise as it has in the US.

Glee are doing a cover of 'Jar Of Hearts' in a couple of weeks :o

You know I had a feeling it was only a matter of time, my interest in Glee and in particular the music has been waning recently so I'm hoping they dont f*** it up.

 

'Arms' is of course utterly gorgeous, not quite to the extent of Jars, but she's certainly an artist who I'm rather beginning to adore.

Santana gets a solo in 'Rumours', the episode before 'Prom Queen' (the ep JOH features in) plus she sings Dancing Queen with Mercedes in the same episode and she's never been one to be overloaded on the singing front. PLUS what was thought to be Rachel's solo this ep (Barbara Streisand's My Man) is actually not in 'Prom Queen' so I imagine she'll get JOH. It would suit her best tbh as well, the only other girls who'd be able to tackle it are Mercedes - wouldn't suit her though - or Santana.

Her album is currently streaming on her official site for those interested. Might give it a listen in a bit.

Ooh Loved Jar Of Hearts, one of my faveourite songs out recently, this is nice, but doesn't scream top 40 to me...

The chorus melody of Arms reminds me a bit of the pre-chorus of Spaceman by The Killers. Just saying.

'Jar of Hearts' has become a guilt pleasure of mine - still waiting for it to see release in the UK - it deserves to be huge (but'll most likely end up either low top 100 or charting similar to Train and Lady Antebellum from last year.
