Last year the cast of Glee covered some of Madonna's back catalogue for a very special episode (a glee first).

With covers of Vogue, Like A Prayer and Like A Virgin to name a few and even her music playing in the background (burning up, justify my love etc).

Glee also released an album/ep of their covers and the album was a huge success going #1 in the states and bringing Madonna's Celebration album back into the charts everywhere (the album "jumped" up 114 places in the Scottish charts and 78 places in the UK).

The show got some of glee's best ever ratings around the world and won numerous awards so with Gwyneth Paltrow having starred in a few episode could you imagine her twisting Madonna's arm to make a cameo appearance? and a sequel episode confirmed could you see Madonna do it?....What would she sing (it doesn't have to be a song of hers)....what role would you like to see her play etc..... Discuss...

If nothing else Madonna's back catalogue must be the most covered more an than any other and that's not including Me Against The Music and Don't Cry For Me Argentina.

I'm not the greatest fan of the show but I'd love to see Madonna (if she went on there) have a storyline with Sue or Emma.
I Love New York? :o One of my faves from Confessions  Glee are gonna ruin it, like they always do.

Glee’s Take on Madonna’s ‘I Love New York’

Glee’s finale isn’t until May 24, but Vulture’s got a sneak peek at one of the episode’s tunes right now. Mostly a take on Madonna’s “I Love New York,” with a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it smattering of “New York, New York” (from On the Town) added to the end of each chorus (and on Glee, it’s a wonderful town, not a helluva town), it features no Rachel belting, lots of pumped-up synth, and Finn singing, “If you don’t like my attitude, then you can get lost” before uttering a kiss-off that was no less amusing coming from Madonna: “Just go to Texas, isn’t that where they golf?” Oh, and Brittany gets a little spoken-word moment, informing us that the New Directions have “seen the Sphinx and we’ve seen the Cliffs of Dover,” which is funny, right? Because they haven’t been ANYWHERE! Anyway — bounce up and down like drunk Rachel, imagine the kids cruising through Times Square in adorably color-coordinated ensembles, and focus on Naya Rivera’s continued ability to sound exactly like whichever lady singer she’s covering.
