Her image is *weak in your opinion only. Critics have been positive about it. There is no way this album will flop, anyway, regardless of quality. There is just too much behind it and there are far to many die-hard fans to let it flop.

grr i thought they would have released it on the sunday like downloads. You would think record companies would get with the times.

It's current score on Metacritic is 74/100 (with around half of the reviews in). Adele managed 75/100 with 21. I don't care if you don't like the music but don't come off with statements like that. Makes you look stupid.

I think "Born This Way" will shift in excess of 150k this week, and will probably be chasing Adele in the YTD charts before long. She's got about a 1/1000 chance of catching her of course, but it'd be great if we could have two albums topping 1.5 million in a year.

I can see this album reaching 1.5million before the year is out. Hopefully she'll be on BGT, I'm sure she'll have chosen a single to perform on X Factor, which would allow her sales to continue during the Christmas period. I think this could do really will if she plans the promotion properly.

I know, but it would be a waste to do Europe without doing BGT and I'm sure her team will know that, given the opportunity they missed when Alejandro was climbing on iTunes and she didn't perform it on BGT.

I don't think she'll do promo on BGT tbh. She'll be in Europe in June but she's booked to be in Germany and France between the 9th and the 15th. The last BGT live final is on the 4th and I don't think she can afford to stay that long in Europe.

There's a 4-5 day gap then between the 4th and the 9th in Germany^

she will appear on daybreak to be interviewed and perform sometime next month, so she is coming back here on her trip to Europe.

130k but it definitely has the power to surprise and I'd say it's one of the hardest big new releases to call, sales-wise, in a long time.

How was it not smart? They were worldwide releases, and each country has different sales period. Born This Way is only what, the biggest selling song of the year worldwide? I'm sure they're kicking themselves that it wasn't a UK number one!
