October 19, 201113 yr I don't have a good feeling about Once Upon A Time either, but they might have more luck at mid-season. I have a feeling that GCB could do OK, but that might just be the DH comparisons that I've read about. But yeah, they really can't be trying to launch three new shows on a Sunday next season so they either need something to stick or move another show to help a couple of new shows perhaps. Might keep up with Homeland once it starts in the UK. It doesn't sound like something I'd like, but neither did The Good Wife and reviews have been very good. I often find that a synopsis isn't great at selling a show even if it turns out to be amazing. The cop is interesting, but she gets very very little screen time save for the end of the episode generally. I expect with the ending of the last episode she'll get more and more screen time though. If anyone's number's going to come up it will be her's. And the two lead actors are quite, well, I can't think of the way to descrive them really. Michael Emerson who plays Finch is seriously mindblowing, his performances are captivating. But I think he's an actor who you adore, or are a bit indifferent to really. The lead actor is a bit wooden and still only really comes to life in the action scenes imo. Yeah, she seems to be coming up with leads and with her talking to Finch in the last episode I assume she will get more screentime. Having her number come up could be good if not a bit predictable.
October 19, 201113 yr NBC is bringing back 'Fear Factor' and it starts on Monday 12th December at 8-10 ET, after 'The Sing Off' ends the week before. Not seen it mentioned in the press release but I assume it might run all the way up to January 30th(?) with 'The Voice' taking the slot the week after. Cheap reality, if the ratings are OK then NBC could potentially use it to fill a regular failing primetime shot a la 'Wipeout' on ABC?

Fear Factor was amazing at first but got shit after the first few seasons.
October 20, 201113 yr In freaking LOVE with 'Suburgatory'. I understand how comforting denial can be. I often endorse it for our obese students.
October 20, 201113 yr Sheila is utterly amazing, the 4th episode had me in tears THREE TIMES. Amazing stuff.
October 20, 201113 yr Sheila is utterly amazing, the 4th episode had me in tears THREE TIMES. Amazing stuff. Tiny overalls, hand-stitched. It breaks my heart. Maybe there is someone out there that can use them. Another collector, someone with a pet monkey, maybe a small farmer.
October 20, 201113 yr Sheila is probably my favourite as well. Not overly keen on Tessa. Her character seems a bit forced.
October 20, 201113 yr I usually love the Juno-type witty smartarse characters but Tessa does seem a little over-thought and contrived.
October 20, 201113 yr Oh and Homeland is going from strength to strength, I love how they're sending us down one path only to find out it's completely wrong and we're back to the start again. Just watched the pilot of this and it took a while for it to get interesting but by the end I quite liked it. Will definitely be watching the second episode if not just to see if to stick with it. Sounds like it's getting good though.
October 20, 201113 yr There are now links to watch the 'Grimm' pilot after NBC made it available to anyone who followed the official twitter account. 'Once Upon A Time' is available to watch on IMDB for US viewers right now, so links should be available soon. 'American Horror Story' is in a close run race with 'Revenge' for my favourite new show of the season so far. I liked how they used the starting flashback to show us what happened between the maid & Constance. It even managed to make me feel sorry for that woman at the end, despite her not being a nice character or someone we'd seen much of. Love Vivien but I think the maid has to be my favourite. October 20, 201113 yr Yeah I came away feeling really sorry for Moira (the maid) too. The relationship between her and Constance is really interesting. Constance is definitely my favourite character... Jessica Lange just has a way of coming out with dialogue that makes it irresistible. 'You are a thief of BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS!' I find Vivien way too cold to get on board with though.
October 20, 201113 yr I've added Jessica Lange to my list of fabulous older bitches (who star in TV shows). It's a truly illustrious list.
October 21, 201113 yr Just watched Suburgatory and this main character strangely looks like a mix between Emma Stone and Rihanna
October 21, 201113 yr She looks nothing like either but Tessa is not dissimilar from Emma Stone's character in Easy A. I do think Dallas, Dahlia, Sheila and Lisa are better characters though. The thing with Tessa is that for all she goes on about thinking the suburbs are ridiculous she seems to actually quite enjoy herself.
October 21, 201113 yr 11 Sheila 10 Dallas 09 Dahlia 09 Guidance councellor man who was in Ugly Betty 08 Lisa 07 George 02 Tessa yeah, 4 real.
October 21, 201113 yr I just watched Suburgatory's first episode as well as the first 2 epidoses of the New Girl. Both are hilarious!
