I'm not sure whether this should go here or in 'retro'...I thought I'd put it in here as he's still around, making music. I'm not really sure what the definition of retro is here really!

Anyway, on to the topic in hand, are there any Beck fans here?

Favourite album/track?

For me, my favourite album of his would probably have to be 'The Information'. Incredible album.

I've never really understood why it's often considered one of his worst albums - 'Motorcade'; 'Cellphone's Dead'; 'Think I'm In Love'; 'New Round' and 'We Dance Alone' are especially brilliant.

I only really properly got 'into' Beck's music a few years ago, around the time when 'Modern Guilt' (which I also love) was released. I've checked out most of his albums now but I must say, I don't really get the fuss with 'Odelay'! It always seems like it's supposed to be THE Beck album to have but it's far from my favourite. Perhaps I need to give it another chance.

best track has to be 'Loser', followed by 'E-pro'. 'Girl' is great also.

love his work on the Scott Pilgrim soundtrack last year.

I do get bored of him quite easily though.

Love "Odelay", not got any of his other albums. "E-Pro" and "loser" of course, alongside "Devils Haircut", "Novacane" and "Where It's At".

So many good tracks by this man.

Mellow Gold has got to be my favourite album but all of them have something good on them.

Some of my faves:

Milk & Honey

Beercan

Nobody's Fault But My Own

Gamma Ray

Beck is amazing.

favorite album is Mutations

then Mellow Gold & Odelay

Sea Change & The Information too.

then the others and stuff not on albums too.

He's kind of a genius. See: Sea Change, Midnite Vultures...

The Information is his worst album though I'm sorry Cremey. :( Literally the ONLY one I don't care for at all.

shoutout Grebo's post: Milk and Honey is one of my favorites from him.

Will forever remain one of my all-time favorite jam out songs.

Tick tick tick tick NA NANAAAA NA.
