Posted May 27, 201114 yr Another Friday, another chart. How have things faired up to this point in our 80% iTunes & 20% other sites & a smidging of physicals, that aren't worth even a mention this week because it only takes a few hundred for Judas to be the biggest physical of the week. So straight to the top 75 bit. (Bases on the usual average quota for the sales of week 21) Top 75 TRAIN AEROSMITH CARO EMERALD Top 70 GO YOUR OWN WAY ~ GLEE WHAT'S MY NAME ~ RIHANNA BUSY ~ OLLY MURS JAR OF HEARTS ~ CHRISTINA PERRI JAR OF HEARTS ~ GLEE Top 60 60 TONIGHT'S THE KIND OF NIGHT ~ NOAH & THE WHALE 59 TILL THE WORLD ENDS ~ BRITNEY SPEARS 58 YOUR SONG ~ ELLIE GOULDING 57 CHAMPION ~ CHIPMUNK 11) 56 LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE ~ EMINEM & RIHANNA 55 TAKE IT BACK ~ TODDLA T 54 WHO'S THAT CHICK ~ RIHANNA & DAVID GUETTA 53 HUSH HUSH ~ ALEXIS JORDAN 52 JUST THE WAY YOU ARE ~ BRUNO MARS 10) 51 BLACK & YELLOW ~ WIZ KHALIFA 50 RAISE YOUR GLASS ~ PINK 9) 49 ALL OF THE LIGHTS ~ KANYE WEST 48 FRIDAY ~ GLEE 47 ROLLING IN THE DEEP ~ GLEE 46 GRENADE ~ BRUNO MARS 45 WHO SAYS ~ SELENA GOMEZ 44 DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH ~ NICOLE SCHERZINGER 43 ROLL UP ~ WIZ KHALIFA 42 HELLO ~ MARTIN SOLVEIG 8) 41 SKINNY LOVE ~ BIRDY 40 DON'T STOP THE PARTY ~ BLACK EYED PEAS 39 FAST CAR ~ TRACY CHAPMAN 38 YEAH 3X ~ CHRIS BROWN 37 BIGGER LIGHTS BRIGHTER CITY ~ CEE LO GREEN 36 S & M ~ RIHANNA 35 WE DON'T HAVE TO TAKE OUR CLOTHES OFF ~ JERMAINE STEWART 34 JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH ~ BLACK EYED PEAS 33 PRICE TAG ~ JESSIE J 7) 32 UNORTHODOX ~ WRETCH 32 31 SUPERBASS ~ NICKI MINAJ 30 FINISH LINE ~ YASMIN 6) 29 BUZZIN ~ MANN 28 TIME ~ CHASE & STATUS 5) 27 ROLLING IN THE DEEP ~ ADELE (#1 in the States for the 3rd week) 4) 26 GUILT ~ NERO 3) 25 DIRTY TALK ~ WYNTER GORDON 24 ONE BIG FAMILY - TEMPLE CLOUD (KFC Ad, originally #21 in 1997 for Embrace) 23 ET ~ KATY PERRY 22 RUN THE WORLD ~ BEYONCE 21 SOMEONE LIKE YOU ~ ADELE 20 CALIFORNIA KING BED ~ RIHANNA 19 SUN IS UP ~ INNA 18 EDGE OF GLORY ~ LADY GAGA 17 BORN THIS WAY ~ LADY GAGA 2) 16 NOBODY'S PERFECT ~ JESSIE J 15 I'M INTO YOU ~ LOPEZ & LIL' 14 BASS DOWN LOW ~ DEV 13 RIGHT THERE ~ NICOLE SCHERZINGER 12 ON THE FLOOR ~ J.LO/PITBULL 11 WHERE THEM GIRLS AT ~ GUETTA/MINAJ/FLO RIDA 10 SAVE THE WORLD ~ SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA 09 JUDAS ~ LADY GAGA 08 NOTORIOUS ~ SATURDAYS 07 SWEAT ~ SNOOP DOGG 06 BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE ~ CHRIS BROWN/BENNY BENASSI 05 MR SAXOBEAT ~ ALEXANDRA STAN 04 PARTY ROCK ANTHEM ~ LMFAO 03 I NEED A DOLLAR ~ ALOE BLACC 02 LAZY SONG ~ BRUNO MARS 1) 01 GIVE ME EVERYTHING ~ PITBULL/NE-YO/AFROJACK/NAYER ) Without downloads alone By my calculations, Pitbull & the gang will have passed 65,000 in the last 6 days of the week, & Alexandra Stan is 100 short of #4. The Saturdays are sitting ahead of number 10 by 2,000 but are in front of Judas for the week on iTunes by more than that in any case, if you get my drift. Dilemma of the week ~ If you are on a bus & there is a tin can rolling around the floor, do you pick it up?
May 27, 201114 yr Thanks Mike, good stuff, looks pretty accurate I reckon. Even if the top 10 is upside down (no, not really, but I wish it was)...
May 27, 201114 yr Don't get me wrong, I love Aloe Blacc and I like Alexandra, but everything else in the top 5 is HORRIBLE :(
May 27, 201114 yr Yeah, the top 5 is kind of meh. :( A lot of good songs in the chart though. Out of the top 20 I could probably make a top 10 that I'd love. Although I could probably say that for every single week since I was born, so it doesn't really mean much I guess.
May 27, 201114 yr And the answer to your dilemma, yes I would pick the can up, or else it will keep rolling when the bus is moving.
May 27, 201114 yr I normally say this, but I love almost all of that top 20, and like the rest. Rihanna is climbing well now. Hope it stays like that and she can grab a top 20 for Sunday.
May 28, 201114 yr Am I the only one who thinks that Saturdays will miss out on the top 10 tomorrow? Edited May 28, 201114 yr by Jason
