Really looking forward to this. They're a bit hit and miss for me but it'll be good to hear something new from them. Feels like they've been away for an absolute AGE.
May 27, 201114 yr Ahh I do hope this is good, they are a tiny bit hit and miss but when they're good they're AMAZING. I need to see them live! Lovefoxxx  Edited May 27, 201114 yr by 152chris
June 7, 201114 yr Author http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9kmiy9VVq0s/TekF04WywiI/AAAAAAAALLs/bw0yf6DMwxk/s1600/css_la_liberacion.jpg I WANT THIS RIGHT NOW.
June 7, 201114 yr I thought they split up? Anyway...I'm kinda looking forward to this. I thought Donkey had some good songs. Believe Achieve, Move and Left Behind are all A* for me.
June 8, 201114 yr zJL7IX34Abo I'm not sure i have heard this one before, apparently it's one of their pre-Donkey stuff. Ha! <3
June 28, 201114 yr The vocal progression really isn't all that. Could be much tighter. NONETHELESS THAT BEAT
June 28, 201114 yr it's fun! i feel like it's silly to judge css as good or bad as they are always just fun fun fun
June 28, 201114 yr they have always been fun, summery, easy listening pop pop (except the dodgy second record that is)
June 29, 201113 yr I'm loving Hits Me Like A Rock. I guess I can't let Nu Rave go...wish it was 2006 again.
June 30, 201113 yr I like the new single... Hope it will be a good album. I listened to CSS' debut a lot and didn't dig Donkey at all. Plus a new cover looks great (Donkey's was ugly) so I feel like I have nothing to worry about haha.
August 21, 201113 yr So this is quite good! I don't think they'll ever recapture the heights of 'Let's Make Love...' but some excellent stuff nevertheless, and a definite improvement on Donkey. 'Red Alert' is my favourite, I think. Do we include 'City Grrrl' with the whole saxophone trend? Oh and there's a delightfully insane spoken bit from Lovefoxxx at the end! Edited August 21, 201113 yr by råndomfurlöng
August 21, 201113 yr Author CITY GRRRL  The reviews I have seen for this have been less than positive to say the least...still, I shall not let that cloud my judgement, I'm a sucker for a lovely bit of CSS.
August 21, 201113 yr Oh my it's ACTUALLY GOOD. I think we can all just pretend Donkey never existed now and live happy lives, YAY.
August 21, 201113 yr City Grrrl is great! And I think I could grow to like the rest of the album. I think I only listened to Donkey once but La Liberacion is miles better.
August 22, 201113 yr A real shame that such an IDIOSYNCRATIC BAND has become relegated to NME-confined FAD status to the highest extreme (they really did make that year at Reading in the mid-2000s that I cannot remember...) If nü-rave hadn't had happened they'd BE SOMETHING today
