May 28, 201114 yr I dislike both teams very strongly, so much so that I may even want Man Utd to win a game for the first time in a long time. I'll see how I feel after the first 5mins :lol:
May 28, 201114 yr Author I can't see Man Utd winning in normal time. I do honestly think it could be quite an embarassing scorline for them. All that I've seen so far from them in the interviews is that they're going to press up the pitch really high, contain Messi and stop them passing the fall fluently. While this is all very good in theory, it's extremely hard to do for 90 minutes. Arsenal proved that you don't have to play to stop Barcelona to beat them - you just have to play football better than them. I think if Man Utd put their brains to it they could do it. Hope they don't know. Don't want to see that smug look on Fergie's face or for the Man Utd players to sing 'we've won it four times without killing anyone'.

I hate betting on one-off final games like these, just because some teams often just play for penalties. Barcelona at evens over 90 minutes however is very tempting. Man Utd are really going to have to produce probably their best performance for a long time to beat Barcelona. I have a feeling too much emphasis is going to be placed on Messi.

May 28, 201114 yr Author Well tried Man Utd. Can't wait to see some of the excuses from fans come up with. Man Utd were truly played off the park. I think it was more one sided than Rome two years ago. Brilliant game of football. This Barcelona team has got to be the best team ever. They're absolutely sublime. Pique was an absolute rock at the back. My MOTM, Messi a very close second.
