Posted May 31, 201114 yr I read this on another Britney forum by the member "Mr. Martian" on Britneyboards.org and I wanted to know what you guys think. Do You Ever Wonder... I've never been one for conspiracy theories or that Illuminati bull$h!t, but there are some things that go on in the recording industry that are extremely questionable and shady. I'll get to the Britney stuff that bothers me later... ...but think about it, today we have labels finding loopholes in payola laws. You have people that work for that label that also work for Clear Channel. They are requesting that DJs play songs every hour on the hour, but since they aren't taking money or bribes for it, it's technically completely legal. That's not really what I want to talk about. I am really curious about Britney and her world from around 2005 - 2007. What's most curious to me are the claims that Britney is on drugs. Britney's never really admitted or been proved of doing any drugs aside from smoking weed. Justin Timberlake said Britney never did drugs around him. Kevin Federline admitted they smoked weed but not regularly. Plus we have had confirmation from outside sources. Every time CPS searched her home they never found drugs or they were prevented from searching due to lack of evidence. Britney has also never failed any of her court mandated drug tests... so the claims that Britney was heavy on drugs during this period of before is far fetched. I'm not saying she's never done them but I doubt she's like some kind of addict. If I recall correctly, her rehab stints had nothing to do with drugs since she never did fail a drug test. They were simply to observe her mental state. She was allowed to leave early every time and doctors never claimed any sort of addiction, simply a medical condition which was bipolar disorder. Ok, now to the weird stuff. We know that after In The Zone & GH:MP, Britney went through some weird stuff with Jive and and 5th studio album that we have dubbed "Original Doll." We know that she recorded all of the songs in her home at the time and only submitted a few songs to the label. The first song we heard was "Mona Lisa." The original version was cute then, but listening to it now is absolutely chilling. It's almost like she was predicting her future. She sings, "She was taken under, drowning in her seat. Running like an angel she was crying and could not see. Now everyone's watching as she starts to fall. Don't have a break down you will hit the freakin' wall." Essentially, Britney was telling her own story, about how her life had been completely public and was completely overwhelming. Everyone was watching her and she slowly went from Pop Princess and America's Sexiest Sweetheart to a victim on her success. Then she almost warns people in the industry today to beware of letting all of the stress get to you. She hit the wall and ever since it seems like she is just coasting through her career. She also describes herself now. "She WAS incredible. She WAS a legend, though. It's time to let her go, cause she's gone." Everyone is saying these things about her now. Another song we got to hear from that era was "Rebellion." We never got to hear this full song and probably never will, but we have got enough of the sample to judge. "Be weary of others, the one's closest to you." Obviously during her breakdown she got rid of her family and management who had basically been with her through it all. The only people who were really close to her were Sam and that group, and later Adnan. Those are the people who we assume Britney called the bad people she let in her life during For The Record. She also says, "The poison they feed you and the voodoo that they do." Britney's mom, Lynne, accused Sam of drugging Britney and controlling her to boost his own social status and using her money. We could never confirm this, but it is assumed by mostly everyone that this is true. The rest of "Rebellion" talks about how freeing it is to just be your in the end and do what you want to do. In FTR Britney says her life is so in control that she is sad. "Every day is like Groundhogs Day." The happiest she was during the whole film was when she got to leave all of her management and family and just drive her car... but that was cut from the original broadcast and made into bonus footage. It's like her management doesn't want us to see certain things and FTR was the perfect shield to make us think that Britney was slowly putting things into perspective... Now, listening to these songs gives me chills. I don't really know for sure what exactly goes on in Britney's life, but hearing things from people that work with her kind of worry me. A while back when I started @MartianLeaks I exchanged a few DMs with Perez Hilton. He told me about his encounter with Britney's team during his filming for the Circus tour. He said everything was completely scheduled and that during his filming Britney wasn't even present. He also said that he didn't even really get to talk to Britney until he came back later editing. Later he tweeted me about the drugs Britney is on now, saying they are obviously inhibiting her energy and performance. I don't usually criticize Britney's current state when on film or live... mostly because I'm thankful that she's alive and making music, but I wonder what the cost of all of this is. I wonder if Britney is being built up to be another pop tragedy. I wonder if she thinks this about herself and has lost the life in her eyes as a result. I love to see Britney out there doing her thing, but I'd much rather see her do it on her own terms. I want to hear Britney sing like she sings to her boys. I want to hear what she wants to sing about. I want her to do an interview that isn't scripted at all. I want Britney to find her own choreographer and dance like she wants to. I don't doubt that Britney is happy right now... and I don't doubt that she still has fun doing this... but I do doubt when people say that she isn't forcing herself to do this. So do you ever wonder what the f*** is going on here?7eMEO3SpJkA&NR=1 Be wary of others, the ones closest to you The poison they feed you and the voodoo that they do 98wbJRTKpq0 She was taken under, drowning in her seat Running like an angel, she was crying and she could not see Now see everyone's watching, as she starts to fall They want her to break down And be a legend of the fall19jSrygTiV8&feature Little me, please forgive me, I could't see You're hurt inside.Rdd4dlss7TA&feature It's written everywhere I've even read it in my script But when I thought it wasn't fair I felt it on my lips, let go I really think he raises some pretty valid points. And this is coming from complete Britney stans. All songs completely written by Britney and produced by her as well. It has been said she is singing to herself in 'Let Go'. Britney has also been building the involvement with her writing and producing her own music. She peaked between 'In The Zone' all of these songs she wrote and produced by herself and then being the executive producer of 'Blackout'... since then her involvement has been waning. This Britney NdUtd4ci8Es Is not this Britney OfPH6WgBAWg I doubt she completely lacks interest in her career, I believe she still enjoys recording music and making music videos... it shows in her work she does. But when it comes to promoting and performing she doesn't enjoy it and breathe it like she used to. It's obvious her priorities lie elsewhere and I am okay with that... but I feel like she is forced to do a lot of things she really doesn't want to do... it seems like they have her doped up on anti-anxiety pills before a performance and interview. She is so heavily guarded she will never hear we disliked a performance she is surronded by YES people. Actually Chris Crocker sums it up pretty damn good. mMnd3WO06-Q I love Britney more then anyone else on this forum, I assure you. But let's look at $h!t for how it really is. May 31, 201114 yr I just watched that 2nd video of her performing Toxic and then watched the Big Fat Bass one afterwards and it's seriously mental how different she is, she's almost unrecognisable in every way. Thing is, I couldn't care less that she mimes especially when she's performing like she is in the 2nd video cos I barely even noticed until I thought about it because I was so transfixed by the performance. But then when she's performing like she is now she can't really mask the mining much cos there's not much else to look at. It's a shame that she does seem to be doing things she doesn't really want to be doing (though I'm sure she does have some control over it) cos it's kinda ruining peoples image of her from when she was massive. People are now remembering the performances at the x factor and the vma awards rather than the performances like the one with the snake. If she does wanna keep making music, I kinda wish she'd do a Kate Bush and just release it with hardly any promotion so that the music just speaks for itself rather than people having a bad perception of it which is kind of happening now with these recent performances. Plus it's kind of sad to watch knowing that she probably doesn't want to be there and it also makes the viewer feel a bit uncomfortable too.
May 31, 201114 yr That Big Fat Bass performance was really uncomfortable for me to watch imo  she just looks like she wants to get it done with.
May 31, 201114 yr She doesn't seem to enjoy performances any more :( It's really shocking how much she's changed - I do love her and her music but if she's not happy then I'd honest;y rather she stopped.
May 31, 201114 yr I really hope she isnt being forced to still make music, sigh..watching the toxic vid is sad, i wish that britney was still with us, seeing songs like HIAM, TTWE and BFB with choreography like she did in that performance would have been out of this world. Little Me is very much a sad and chilling song, especially the part where she says 'where did i go? my eyes will show' i really feel like that spark in her eyes has gone, it just looks like she always has this vacant blank confused look in them, like she's still there physically, but her drive, spark and spirit aren't. So its almost like she was trying to say she's 'gone' or she will be 'gone' in the song...just a speculation. Edited May 31, 201114 yr by Propilot87
May 31, 201114 yr I wish she would just retire and look after her kids. All these recent performances are doing is smearing the legacy she has as one of the best performers of our generation. Each new performance rots that title away gradually. Its sad what has happened to her but it isn't fair to her fans either for her to continue at this level. Her heart just isn't in it and her team know the fans will go see her tour regardless of what she does on stage which makes it even worse. They are taking advantage of her and the fans. May 31, 201114 yr Author I really think there are two things going on here. Either one, she just isn't into this anymore and she would really just like to be a full time mother and spend time with her family and kids. Or two, this conservatorship just really has her in a slump and she can't work creatively like she wants too (like ITZ and Blackout)... Do you guys remember when she said she had wrote dozens of songs for 'Circus' and only two songs she co-wrote made the cut. I remember saying she was very proud of them and couldn't wait to "let the music talk for her and answer everyone's questions". Obviously Jive and her management did not let this happen. Same thing with 'Femme Fatale', she said she was writing a lot on the 'Circus tour'... and I enjoy every penned Britney song I have heard (Me Against The Music / Everytime / Someday/ Touch Of My Hand / Shadow / Ooh Ooh Baby / Mannequin, Scary, and dozens of others). I really think we will see what will happen once her contract with Jive is up after this tour is over. It seems her handlers and Jive want everyone to still think of Britney as this pristine virginal character, when clearly she isn't... and even more clearly Britney is obviously the f*** over that whole deal... Because remember this contract is the same contract she signed in 2004. Before having kids, getting a divorce, having a mental breakdown, etc, etc, etc. Edited May 31, 201114 yr by Tyler
May 31, 201114 yr I agree that the spark in her eyes is not there, certainly not during her performances. I dunno if its the medication she's getting from being bipolar, or if she's just really not into the music scene anymore. But it's clear that her performances are extremely lacklustre these days, and there really arent excuses. Being a mother doesnt stop you from being a good dancer, neither does being 29 - there are plenty of others in similar situation that can do what she does a lot better. Which leads me to believe it is either something psychological, or lack of motivation and desire to be involved.
May 31, 201114 yr Why she should retire? coz she's not anymore great dancer? well it's not everything in performing and dancing. I don't think that she's forced, she just doesn't giving 110% now. Her priorities are hers kids now, and that's normal for every good mother. Music career is second plan IMO:
May 31, 201114 yr Jennifer Lopez's priority is her kids and she can still rock the stage and is in her mid 40s. There's obviously something else going on... she's not into it.

I don't think that she's forced, she just doesn't giving 110% now. Her priorities are hers kids now, and that's normal for every good mother. Music career is second plan IMO: I didn't say she needs to retire. She just doesn't seem happy doing it anymore, and if she is being forced then I hope something comes through to where she gets her way. It's a question Nick, not a statement.
May 31, 201114 yr Jennifer Lopez's priority is her kids and she can still rock the stage and is in her mid 40s. There's obviously something else going on... she's not into it. But Jennifer Lopez didn't lose almost her kids like Britney. Didn't she said in one of the recent interviews that she only going in the dance studio when her kids are in the school? In the morning something like that. Before she was in the studio like the whole days.. now only few hours.
May 31, 201114 yr Author The choreography is really not the problem. It's the fact she really seems lost while performing, and frankly like she doesn't care.
May 31, 201114 yr Yes I agree that she seems like she doesn't care. I mean just look that TTWE appearance on Billboard awards, that was really bad, I mean totally bad, but she did that and she didn't cared how that looked, i'm sure that Britney with some motivation or something will never do something like that.
May 31, 201114 yr Author Or she is obligated to the performances because of a contract with ABC just like with Good Morning America.
June 1, 201114 yr The main thing I can say to sum it up is, lets see what happens when she passes 30 (The age in which Monarch programming in it's slaves begins to fail). Look Kurt Cobain, Heath Ledger, Jimi Hendrix, Marylin Monroe (barely, 36) and many others who never passed this crucial age in the Hollywood life style. For the reason of not being able to handle the torture mind control entails, hence why they're all suddenly bi-polar or have multiple personalties or accents, in order to distance themselves from the negatives...see Nicki Minaj, Britneys own accent, Mariah and may others. All these stars got to a point where Britney is now where you seriously think, WHAT THE F**K is up with you? And sadly, they never went past it. The only one I can think of right now is, Mariah Carey because I'm a major fan but I don't know she had the whole breakdown/suicide drama etc yet she survived. Lets hope Britney does do. I wonder how many people know what Femme Fatale actually stands for? One of two things "A powerful vixen/woman, able of great charm and/or seduction" or "A woman trapped in a situation which SHE CANNOT ESCAPE..." The signs are all there. June 1, 201114 yr Personally, I'd like to see Britney quit once the contract ends.........just for a while. The papparazzi don't seem to hound as much as they did, I think when the contract expires, she should take a proper break, retreat and be with her kids, concentrate on them and their growing up. Once the kids have reached an age where they are in a better position to understand whats going on around them, then maybe Britney can make a comeback, but with more creative control and under her own rules.
June 1, 201114 yr ohh Nick...you really think that there is nothing else going on with her. I know she has kids and all that, but what I am questioning is that why she doesn't give us fans FTR part 2 and say the truth...I don't know what really is going on with her but she really looks scared and frightening...even during Circus era she seemed more stable than now. As Tyler said, it looks like she is in that box surrounded only by the people who are lying and praising her for whatever she does. She gets so much respect from industry and fans, and yet she fails to deliver our expectations. Britney should join Buzzjack and let Tyler be her manager.
