To be honest I think Janet is quite ugly. I love her music though but am totally dissapointed with the new single! Will have to give the album a quick skim through before I decide to buy it or not.

I heard one song "Weekend" i really liked it..really retro/80's sounding funk. Will this be on the new CD?

Not a great cover and not a great lead single in my opinion (although it'll probably grow on me).

 

I don't know why everybody pretty much hated/ignored "Just A Little While", "I Want You" and "All Night (Don't Stop)", I really liked them. Never got the opportunity to listen to the whole "Damita Jo" album though.

 

I hope this one gets recognition cause I'm fond of Janet, and I usually love her stuff.

I think its interesting how she lost so much weight in such a short period of time. I saw her in a magazine few months ago and she was huuuuuuge

this is janet. shes always been able to gain and lose weight very fast

Generally i think she can look pretty. but sometimes she looks scary. to much drag queen makeup, false talons for nails, huge eye lashes and unflatteringly tight clothes on her rather toned and masculine at times body. She looked pretty when she was more simple looking.

i agree with the make up. she does wear far to much. i miss "janet" album era when it was natural and she looked amazing

totally! makeup does not enhance her. Just ruins her.

I can't see this charting all that highly tbh. The lead single is totally generic, dull and an awful comeback single, she is capable of so much more -_-

 

I have a feeling it won't do do too well in the charts for several reasons:

 

-This sort of RnB never does well in the charts anyway

 

- I'm not even sure if the video channels will pick up on it which this song needs as radiowill snub it.

 

- It just isnt that good :(

 

Here's hoping single 2 with Khia is somewhat better :cheer:

Weekend is a previously unreleased track that was leaked, at first people thought it was from the new album, but Janet confirmed it wasn't. It's a good song, pity it won't be on the album :P

lol i know, its quite catchy but singing about fart machines is so un-amusing!
