Indeed!!! :o Although it was one of those really competitive weeks very rarely where the entire top 4 are new entries. Of course the high standard from BJSC XXXIV has resulted in tracks from the contest entering my chart. The only tracks from BJSC XXXIII that made any impact were 'Riverside' (yeah, my own entry!!! :lol: :wub: ) and 'Mr. Saxobeat'. Otherwise Adele would've easily have just slipped down to #3 instead. Despite it's hefty fall, there's still plenty of chart life left in 'SFTTR' so it won't be tumbling down even further next week.

Really?!!! It was the one of the standout tracks from the last Unknown Pleasures - one that actually continued growing on me after the contest. I think I only gave the track 4 points (or something like that) but I'd easily give it 8 points now. For a song that's so far peaked at #16 for me, it's stabilised really well to have not dropped out of my top 40.

It reallty is excellent and I'm glad it managed to top the UK charts with decent sales - and will hopefully get a well deserved second week at #1 over the so-so new track from Calvin Harris.

Hmm, I will admit I'm not the biggest Katy B fan. A couple of her singles like 'Lights On' and 'Broken Record' were both good but got boring quite quickly for me. This track hasn't impacted me anywhere near as much hence the low entry peak. Will most likely drop out of my top 40 next weekend.

I've always liked Coldplay but can understand why their music wouldn't appeal to people who love pop music (ie; Chris Martin's vocals :P ). The one great thing imo about Coldplay is that Chris Martin has a good ear for a strong melody - this is what can make or break a song for me. 'ETIAW' is yet another superb track and I'm liking the influences of dance music.

Whilst 'Black Video' hasn't quite hit the dizzying heights of #1 that 'Riverside' achieved, I still think this is a brilliant track. A top 4 consisting of new entries and I really do love every single one of these songs.

It came very close to be honest but the top 10 overall is still so strong this week that it's actually done brilliantly do get to #12. Especially considering it's a track I only heard for the first time halfway through the week.

Agree 100%. 'On The Floor' really was excellent imo but 'I'm Into You' just hasn't made anywhere as big an impact.

Eric Amarillo benefitted from both BJSC XXXIV and entering the HIT30 last week. It's left to be seen where it enters next week but a top 10 entry is looking likely. The high quality of BJSC XXXIV really is shining through this time round. :D
