THANK YOU TOM!! So happy I qualified as I generally thought I'd flop this contest. Jell Bird Jury is just some BJSC nations bunched together although I phrased it wrong and it technically should be "Jubirdia" instead.

Kyarypamyupamyu shockingly qualifies to the final

After disasterous odds and predictions, Daehun has managed to secure another qualify to the final. We would like to thank all the supporters to the track.

Kyarypamyupamyu secures us a decent victory.

Kyarypamyupamyu's PONPONPON has managed to secure Daehun our sixth best result ever since participating in BJSC. With 87 points and 14th, it became our second song to place within the 11-19th region. Chairman Kim Jonghyun has plans to make next contest's entry Daehun's best to commemorate the contest's 5th year birthday.

DaeNews reports on the behalf of Daehun and blasts Persephonia & Umiiruka, Emperor Gikwang visits Bellamia and plans to fly to Umiiruka to resolve the issue

Tension is currently arising between the Jubirdia nations of Persephonia and Umiiruka. Accusations have been spreading within the public of the two alliance nations in which Emperor Gikwang was taped outbursting about Girls Aloud's newly released track "Something New" catching up with Kyarypamyupamyu's "Fashion Monster" on the Umiirukian iTunes. "Indeed what I said within the tape is true. However I have also been informed that the rumours goes beyond that and my words are being twisted with people attempting to tarnish my reputation as the sole ruler of Daehun. My actions of my outburst was exaggerated and there was a conversation prior to the taped scene which explains fully why I said that statement, something which I will not go into more depth with. No apologies shall be issued by me or anyone on my behalf as I don't think it's necessary at all and I have no regrets on the taped scene at all. The two nations which accused us are the ones who reported Bellamia's poverty (which again is highly exaggerated as even if the nation has the lowest GDP within the Alliance, it's still considered to be a MEDC within the Buzzjack world). If anything, their words are the ones which people should be wary about" exclaimed Gikwang on a press conference shortly before his departure to Bellamia's capital.

In other news, Emperor Gikwang is said to have travelled to Bellamia to strengthen the political ties between the two countries. "Our highness has departed from the Guosangki International Airport at approximately 28th October at 14:17 in the afternoon to speak with the leader of Bellamia. He shall return to Daehun on the 31st of October in time for the Buzzjack Song Contest entry meeting to be held at the evening of the same day", informed of a personal representative. "If all goes to plan, he shall be visting Umiiruka once again to discuss the situation between us two alliance nations and the current rumour reports. His flight time is remained hidden incase of terrorist attacks but it's due within the first week of November after the 50th BJSC contest begins".

I acknowledged the fact that Bellamia is technically an MEDC - that's only because the life of luxury of the elite 5% more than covers the horrific state of the rest of the population! Other countries ignoring this is only going to make it worse

I don't know where all these lies are coming from - Bellamia's never been better! The economy is thriving and the quality of living for most is very high.

5% is not 'most'.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That's cute.

Yeah again DaeNews lied about him saying it in the first place so why should we believe them NOW? Persephonian/Umiirukan media has never been called up on lying before.

Ailee to once represent Daehun again for the 50th BJSC contest

It has been announced with the opening of the BJSCL's contest that Daehun has chosen Ailee once again to represent the nation. Originally wanting to send Girls' Generation, comittees of the music BJSC-Daehun board refused to opt in to send it as it's considered less inspired than Ailee who failed to qualify having been sent earlier this year. She will compete with other multiple nations in order to reach the final and determine her position there (providing she reaches it). Described as a track starting originally as a ballad which begins to pick up pace, it contains some of Ailee's best vocals to date with strong emphaisis on the power and is also described by others as very "Eurovisiony".

Daehun achieves another personal best on the special 50th anniversary BJSC contest!

On the finals hold tonight, Daehun has achieved a point tally of 143 points and became third position. This is an achievement as Ailee previously represented us with Heaven and didn't qualify after missing out by 2 points. Position wise, this is our personal best and the second highest points achieved behind Girls' Generation's Paparazzi sent in July. Right behind us is Jubirdia's alliance member Aquafina who also sent a K-Pop contest, Girls' Generation's FLOWER POWER, achieving his best as well. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us this contest and continue to do so in the special spin-offs held next month! Daehun is delighted and look forward to TBOs and the Rejects held next month!

Daehun enters our second western song, finishes 10th!

For the opening contest of 2013, Daehun entered Samantha Jade an Australian X Factor winner with her track "What You've Done To Me". This is our second western entry after Rebecca Stella's "Give Me That O" in 2012. Scoring an impressive 116 points in the final of BJSC LI, it came 10th which also marks our first consecutive 2 Top 10s in a row! We would like to thank everyone who voted for our track and to continue to support our future entries!

Daehun requires help from other nations with song choice

As it's been a while since we've publicly requested for help, we would like opinions on the following tracks for those who can spare us some minutes. We would greatly appreciate it if even one ranks the tracks in order of their preference! Our potentials are:

SISTAR19 - Gone Not Around Any Longer

Kimberley Chen - Ai Ni

YOUNIQUE UNIT - Maxstep

SISTAR - Alone

TVXQ - Catch Me

None of them. :D

Unless you want to miss the EOY Top 10 (see my prediction - Daehun looking set to finish 14th, outperforming us by a ratio of 6:1 so still great). Want to be top 10 send

Jakwob - Fade

I don't QUITE get your post there Hits. That song which you recommended is only decent at best, plus I'd like to return back to my roots. :P

I've also added one song which originally wasn't in my list of potentials as well (the only Chinese song there). ^_^

Oh and Bal, the dance moves of "Alone" is lush, totally fabulous and makes the entire song!

I was joking (badly) :P

I just think it's inevitable that the next winner of BJSC will be a song that sounds similar to 'Fade' as that's the genre of choix atm. Certainly won't be me anyways.

Fade is average and Daehun should send One Shot, colour me surprisingly impressed :o
