July 30, 200618 yr Ok i'm gonna be honest and say i'm really disappointed!! I was really hoping for a #5 placing! PCD have had a million selling album and yet they've managed 4 top 5 singles! Not fair! :(
July 30, 200618 yr I'm not disappointed at all! It's quite impressive when artists like Sugababes and Robbie Williams only managed Top 40 and Top 30 places with 3rd / 4th singles from relatively samey sales from the albums. "Confessions..." has sold around 1.3 million in the UK now, so it's pretty good that people still bought "Get Together". I think the strenght of the song and the cool video managed it, not to mention the die-hard fans she has in the UK. To me it's a "congrats Madge". Mission accomplished!

July 31, 200618 yr Author Madonna's fanbase mainly gave her first week sales for this I think, and the fact it slided through the midweeks indicates it's in for a big drop next week. I did want it to go top 5 this week, I have to admit.
