July 26, 201410 yr Author EVVY qualifies and finishes 31st! After this evening's BJSC LXVI final results show held in N DNTN, it was revealed that EVVY had finished in 31st place for Ramrynia with 47 points! While this is the lowest finish Ramrynia have achieved in a final so far, we are pleased that we have been able to continue our record of consecutive qualifications which has now reached 9! In regards to the semi-final results, EVVY finished in 13th place in the second semi-final with 60 points! Thank you to everyone who voted for EVVY throughout this contest and we are very excited for the next contest.
August 8, 201410 yr Author Move over Waves, move over I Wanna Feel, move over I Got U as Ramrynia have entered the dance anthem of the summer for BJSC LXVII!

August 8, 201410 yr Move over Waves, move over I Wanna Feel, move over I Got U as Ramrynia have entered the dance anthem of the summer for BJSC LXVII! Assuming what I think it is, then thanks to stealing one of the songs I recommended NOT as a potential but rather as a song just to listen to due to me screaming it to be a "obvious Top 10 smash" here.
August 8, 201410 yr Author Assuming what I think it is, then thanks to stealing one of the songs I recommended NOT as a potential but rather as a song just to listen to due to me screaming it to be a "obvious Top 10 smash" here. Well you weren't planning on sending it to BJSC and you even offered it to someone else who didn't want it so I was just being resourceful :magic: And I entered it because it's an amazing song, not because you said it's a possible top 10 finisher!
August 9, 201410 yr Author http://www.paulcee.co.uk/blog/images/higher-ground.jpg For the 67th edition of BJSC being held in Aeroche, Bellamia and Jayrusalem, the Ramrynia entry will be Higher Ground by British house music production duo Blonde featuring the gorgeous vocals of Charli Taft. The song has been drawn to perform 30th and last in the first semi-final being hosted in Bellamia. One reviewer of the song says that "Higher Ground is as close to pop perfection as you can get" as well as continuing to say that it is "upbeat and dance floor commanding with its driving house beats, there’s definitely a relaxed, summery, chillout quality to the tune" and that Higher Ground is "as smooth as silk with a gorgeous, emotion-felt pop vocal hook to boot". We believe that these quotes describe our entry perfectly and we hope that the rest of the participants enjoy our song! You can watch the music video for Higher Ground below! jjiZNUsJYjw Review quotes taken from soundadvicemusic.net.

August 9, 201410 yr Author OMG OMG OMG. What an Amazing track btw. It's been in my personal chart for a couple of Week as well. YASS RYAN! I'm so glad you like it! I've just looked on you personal chart and I see it's been climbing for a few weeks now so hopefully it'll keep climbing into your top 10! Cheap ho. You were on a good run. I even saw this mentioned in the iTunes thread last week (albeit I haven't heard it yet so I'll forgive you for now) xx I know it was a top 800 iTunes smash when released last Sunday! :(
August 25, 201410 yr Author Ramrynia fail to qualify for BJSC LXVII final Unfortunately, Ramrynia finished in 18th place in the first semi final of BJSC LXVII hosted in Bellamia with 52 points and therefore was not quite enough to qualify for the BJSC LXVII final. Thank you to those countries that did vote for 'Higher Ground' in the semi final and we look forward to the next contest! Rumours are suggesting that there is already a clear front-runner in the race to be our BJSC LXVIII representative and it is a fantastic mix of the "old" Ramrynia where quirky female vocalists were our entries very often with the likes of Diana Vickers and Katie Sky and the more experimental "new" Ramrynia!
September 7, 201410 yr Author Shannon Saunders to represent Ramrynia Ramrynia are continuing with their loose theme of sending more experimental tracks this year in BJSC LXVIII with the alternative-pop song Sheets which a reviewer states has a house music influence and it is sung by UK singer Shannon Saunders. Moving into the real world for a moment, this is a very personal entry for me considering Shannon is one of only a handful of artists that I have seen live as she supported Lucy Spraggan during her tour towards the end of last year. Shannon was incredible there and I've followed her career ever since! I don't have any sort of expectations for this song but I really hope that some of you enjoy it! Check it out below: 7sYDchSFzX0
October 2, 201410 yr Author Ramrynia finish top 20 in BJSC LXVIII! After an exciting BJSC LXVIII results show in Persephonia last week, it was revealed that Ramrynia had finished in 20th place with 92 points with our entry 'Sheets' by Shannon Saunders. It was also revealed that Ramrynia finished 12th in the second semi-final with 71 points. We are very happy with this result and we look forward to the next contest in Jamvale! Thank you to everyone who voted for Shannon!
October 2, 201410 yr Author http://a4.mzstatic.com/eu/r30/Music4/v4/73/30/4d/73304d1a-c535-37a9-93f1-021900200bc5/cover326x326.jpeg NINA is the BJSC LXIX entrant for Ramrynia! Once again, Ramrynia are continuing with their loose theme of sending more experimental and inspired tracks this year. This time, representing Ramrynia in BJSC LXIX, with the dreamy electronic pop song We Are The Wild Ones is German singer NINA who is currently based in London. We've read comparisons to former Ramrynia entrant Indiana and also think the production has a little bit of a Postiljonen sound to it, so we're very excited about this entry and we hope that all of you are too! November 20, 201410 yr Author 2 failures to qualify in BJSC LXIX and LXX Unfortunately both NINA and Smith & Thell (see below for more information on the BJSC LXX entry) failed to qualify in BJSC LXIX and LXX respectively. Both 'We Are The Wild Ones' and 'Hippie Van' collected 46 points in their semi-finals result in 19th and 18th place finishes respectively. Despite these results, Ramrynia have enjoyed another fairly successful year despite Indiana being the only of our entries that was in contention for that victory we have yet to achieve. We hope all of the other participants enjoyed our entries this year and that you found our entries more inspired than in previous years which was our overall aim for the year - particularly towards the end. Hopefully next year, Ramrynia will finally get that victory that we've come so close to getting before! As mentioned above, our LXX entry was 'Hippie Van' by Smith & Thell who had move away from their previous electro-pop sound to a brand new folk-inspired sound. We though it was a great pop song and we are glad it found some fans in the second semi-final. If you have yet to listen to the entry, check it out below! wETOx5zA7GM
January 12, 201510 yr Author Ramrynia enter Listenbee for BJSC 71! For the first contest of 2015, we are in the Republic of Adonia for the 71st edition of BJSC! Ramrynia are very excited to announce that our entry is 'Save Me' by Listenbee who are the latest project signed to Lokal Legend, the record label responsible for Kiesza's breakthrough smash 'Hideaway'. The song is described as a "folk house hybrid" with a warm pop gospel-tinged vocal and it is accompanied by a beautiful strings-led production that could perhaps be compared to recent tracks such as 'Waves' and 'Prayer In C' remixed by Robin Schulz. We think it sounds absolutely fantastic and we hope the rest of the participants do too! Listen to 'Save Me' on Soundcloud below! https://soundcloud.com/listenbee/save-me
