August 22, 20159 yr Author EVVY gives Ramrynia their 4th top 10 finish of 2015! Yesterday evening, Aquafina hosted the results of the 77th Buzzjack Song Contest and Ramrynia were in contention at the top of the table for the majority of the contest. Ramrynia representative EVVY ended up finishing in 8th place with 252 points, meaning Ramrynia have now managed to secure 4 top 10 finishes in the 7 contests so far this year. In the first semi-final, EVVY finishes in 4th place with 98 points. We are very pleased once again with this result, thank you to everyone who voted for 'Tidal Wave'! Congratulations to Aquafina on winning their home contest and we look forward to joining you once again, alongside Cor Lupus this time, for the 78th edition of the contest.
September 8, 20159 yr Author Level 3 and Martika LA hope to take Ramrynia to the next level in BJSC 78! Following the opening of the BJSC 78 semi-finals in Aquafina and Cor Lupus, it has now been publicly announced that Ramrynia's entry is 'Feeling Your Love (LaaDeeDaa)', a collaboration between producers Level 3 and vocalist Martika LA. Level 3 consist of Sean Mac and Lisa Greene who used to work at Xenomania (excitement!) and have worked with the likes of Karen Harding and Nicola Roberts recently. September 16, 20159 yr Author Ramrynia qualify for their 7th final of the year! After tonight's second semi-final results show in Cor Lupus, it was announced that Level 3 and Martika LA had accumulated enough points to qualify Ramrynia for the final of BJSC 78! This is Ramrynia's seventh appearance in a final this year out of a possible 8, and we are thrilled with the ongoing success of our entries. Early odds have suggested Ramrynia could be in contention for another good result this month, but we are overjoyed just to have made the final against such a tough field of entres. September 30, 20159 yr Author A second consecutive 8th place finish! After a dramatic BJSC 78 hosted by Aquafina and Cor Lupus, the results eventually revealed that Ramrynia had secured their fifth top 10 finish of 2015 with a second consecutive 8th place! Level 3 and Martika LA accumulated 223 points to match EVVY's finish in the previous contest and 'Feeling Your Love (LaaDeeDaa)' also matched EVVY's 4th place semi-final finish, although managing to score 108 points in the second semi-final, slightly more than 'Tidal Wave' managed. The ongoing success of Ramrynia's recent entries is extremely pleasing, thank you as always to those who voted for us this contest. October 11, 20159 yr Author XYconstant return to BJSC in collaboration with Tom Aspaul On Friday evening, the contestants for BJSC 79 were revealed by host countries Mulgracia and Jadakissnia. Ramrynia will be taking part in the second semi-final with the song 'Do It Well' by XYconstant and Tom Aspaul! XYconstant will be familiar to nearly all participants through their previous participation for Flynnonda with the fantastic 'Silverlined' but 'Do It Well' is a different style of track with its more pop-leaning sound while still maintaining the tropical house vibes from their previous material. It has been revealed that Ramrynia's entry in the Aeroche-hosted BJSC 80 will be LÉON with pop tune 'Tired Of Talking'. The song was released at the beginning of July and is part of her newly-released 4 track 'Treasure' EP which also features subsequent singles 'Nobody Cares' and title track 'Treasure'. Yet her debut single still remains my favourite hence the entry of this song into the 80th BJSC! With catchy whistles and clicks, layered vocals, a beautiful folk-leaning electro-pop production, and some comparisons to the fabulous Ryn Weaver ('OctaHate'), we hope that all of the participants will enjoy our song. This follows news that BJSC 79 entrant XYconstant finished in 6th place with 241 points, securing Ramrynia's 4th top 10 finish in a row and 6th top 10 finish of 2015 - a joint-record with 2012 but with a lot more competition this year! December 1, 20159 yr Author LÉON scores a solid result in final contest of 2015! After the results show of BJSC 80 in Aeroche last night, it was revealed Ramrynia had finished in 28th place with 154 points. LÉON also secured an 8th place finish in the second semi-final with 78 points! We are so pleased to have made it to 9 finals this year, thank you to everyone for their continued support. Furthermore, over the past couple of months, Amy Macdonald and Only The Young both scored top 20 finishes for Ramrynia in spin-off contests UK Chart Near Misses and Halloween respectively with their songs 'Slow It Down' and 'Monster Mash'! We are now approaching the end-of-year celebratory BJSC "The Best of" contests, and we begin with the Rejects competition for those who failed to qualify for the final. Thanks to everyone's support over the year we only have one entry into the competition this year. That entry is SLO with the gorgeous 'Shut Out Of Paradise' who was ever so close to qualifying in BJSC 75. February 9, 20169 yr Author EVVY reaches TBO final, Venior reaches BJSC 81 final and looking ahead to BJSC 82! It has been a busy last couple of months in BJSC for Ramrynia, with the TBO competitions taking place in December and BJSC 81 in January. The Best of EVVY reached the TBO final, finishing in 28th place - far above expectations! 3 other Ramrynia entries made the TBO semi-finals, ASTR with 'Activate Me', Spada & Elen Levon with 'Cool Enough' and Phoebe Ryan with 'Mine'. We were very glad our successful 2015 was recognised with several entries in the TBO semi-finals, thank you to everyone for the support! Check out the first post of the topic for a full results breakdown. BJSC 81 In BJSC 81, Ramrynia was represented by Finnish artist Venior and her song 'Sugar Rush'. Venior managed to secure a 6th qualification in a row for Ramrynia with a 15th place finish in the semi-final, and an unlucky 41st place finish in the final. While this was a bit lower than hoped, we are still very pleased to have made the final. BJSC 82 Ramrynia have confirmed their entry for BJSC 82 and it will be announced in a few days time. It is a very on-trend pure pop tune that is one of our favourite entries in a long time. We can't wait to unleash it upon everyone! Ramrynia can also announce they have re-hired the PR team that was behind the critically acclaimed promotional campaign for Kitty Pryde's 'Second Life' back in BJSC 65. Evidence of this is already underway with yesterday's unveiling of our revamped national flag, which you can see in the first post of this topic. Exciting times ahead! :cheer:
