I was thinking of Ciara's Promise when I said that, but yes. I'm not sure how successful Leona would be with that sound but at least if she did bomb she'd bomb with dignity. Trying to get on the dance craze and then bombing anyway will just make Leona look even worse.

8/9 with about 6 weeks top 40 its boring already and they premiered it too early from the video and download release dates so the momentum has gone. Also Leona is miles better then this song :mellow:

Leona Lewis has unveiled the first look at her upcoming music video for new single 'Collide'.

 

The Sandy Vee-produced track serves as the lead single from the 26-year-old's still-untitled third album, currently scheduled for release on November 28.

 

The promo, shot in Malibu, was directed by Ethan Lader, whose most recent work includes the videos for Bruno Mars's 'Just The Way You Are' and Jason Derulo's 'What If'. The full video will premiere on Friday.

 

The pictures show Lewis reaching out towards the sun on a beach and relaxing with some companions in a car. While filming, one of the cameras was damaged after being hit by a wave.

 

Writing on Twitter last night, the Hackney-born star confirmed that she had spent the last week with her "head down at the studio putting the finishing touches on everything".

 

Lewis will release 'Collide', officially billed as a collaboration with Swedish DJ Avicii, on September 4.

WOW thats really good, Its only been out 1 day! the saturdays only have 650,000 and been out 2 weeks, and pixie well that's been out about 5 weeks and got 2 million!

up to over 900,000 views now... hopefully interest in the video will help airplay too... up from 90 to 69 this week... if she has some promotion lined up for release week, maybe she still has a chance? :-)
