September 3, 201113 yr I noticed that Leona Lewis is trending on Twitter. So people are talking about her. I'm sure she'll go top 5. Just noticed myself, trending worldwide. Such a great performance! Was so unexpected I was expecting after 9:15
September 3, 201113 yr It's a pity that the best song out of the 3 is the only one that doesn't have a major promo slot. Hmm? I wasn't aware The Saturdays have a major promo slot either?
September 3, 201113 yr That's what I was saying. All Fired Up is the best song of the three (though I am loyal to Pixie) and it's the only one that doesn't seem to have major promotion.
September 3, 201113 yr That's what I was saying. All Fired Up is the best song of the three (though I am loyal to Pixie) and it's the only one that doesn't seem to have major promotion. Apologies! I thought you were talking about Collide being the best of the three
September 3, 201113 yr Could someone explain me the situation with EP's? Why are some singles charting as EP's on albums and what happens to their sales? Single pre-orders can be in two forms - an actual single pre-order which doesn't appear in the albums chart (sometimes they do for a while but this is an error and they disappear shortly afterwards) or an EP pre-order which does. Sales of single pre-orders go straight onto track 1 of the single, which leads to very high entries on the songs chart. Sales of EP pre-orders go to the albums chart, which leads to very high entries there but a slow start on the songs feed. A sale of the EP counts as 1 sale towards that song for the official chart, but if you buy the tracks from an EP separately each sale counts as 1 sale - so if there was a remixes EP of a certain song which contained 6 versions of that song, you could buy the full EP and count as 1 sale or you could buy every track separately which would count as 6 sales (but this would be stupid as you'd be paying more for the same product).
September 3, 201113 yr After Leona's performance Collide has shot up 26 places to #19 on pre-orders so far. Only just over an hour till the battle commences
September 4, 201113 yr Cannot believe I've stayed awake just to see the first iTunes update  Anyhoo.. 20. The Saturdays - All Fired Up 113. Pixie Lott - All About Tonight 168. Avicii / Leona Lewis - Collide
September 4, 201113 yr It looks a bit weird seeing Avicii have top billing on "Collide". Will the OCC present it that way too?
September 4, 201113 yr After The Ep showing up in Ireland 06. The Saturdays - All Fired Up Extended Mix 35. The Saturdays - All Fired Up Single 116. The Saturdays - All Fired Up (Alias Remix) Combined they are #04 1% behind #03 The single mix should go up rapidly now, I think that was the pre-orders putting it in at #35 immediatly! Top 5 hit in Ireland looking more than Likely now!
September 4, 201113 yr It looks a bit weird seeing Avicii have top billing on "Collide". Will the OCC present it that way too? I think its because it automatically goes to alphabetical order so thats why its like that. So at the moment: #7 - All Fired Up #17 - All About Tonight (#5 EP) #29 - Collide (#6 EP) Edited September 4, 201113 yr by Karma
September 4, 201113 yr Author 3 The Saturdays - All Fired Up 9 Pixie Lott - All About Tonight 20 Avicii & Leona Lewis - Collide
September 4, 201113 yr Love how The Sats are proving everyone wrong - YA'LL CAN SIT DOWN WHO SAID THEY WEREN'T EVEN IN THE RACE. Although, I'm not gonna lie they'll be frontloaded and trail off in the middle of the week. If this happens I'd rather Leona took #1 over Pixie. Eugh. Edited September 4, 201113 yr by Encore
