Well that's 4 great ones gone, although it's to be expected as we get to this end. I think I may have put Kelly at 5. I've liked everything I've heard by her, and she only slightly edges Beyoncรฉ as my favourite in Destiny's Child (Still love Bey though).

Nicole's solo career has really won me over. I wasn't a huge fan of the PCD's material, but Killer Love is an excellent album.

ย

Robyn and Shakira have both produced some wonderful singles, so some good positions there.

3 of my top 10 left in the running then. :D

I'd have liked Nicole higher but after only one (amazing) album I guess that's good going! Kelly's new album is hugely disappointing, but Stole, Can't Nobody, Dilemma, Work and Like This remain amazing songs worthy of a *.* so her spot is well deserved! Shocked Robyn wasn't higher, and I think she should be higher! I've always found Shakira quite overrated (though I do really like her) and Sale El Sol was mostly shit apart from Loca, Islands and Rabbiosa, but she has a very strong discography!

I really wasn't expecting Nicole Scherzinger to be this high actually, though I suppose PCD material possibly threw her higher up some people's lists? Though God knows why. 'Killer Love' is a very strong album all the same though, and whilst I still don't think hold 'Right There' up in very high esteem, the singles have been very well picked so far.

Would have prefered Shakira to be a little higher, or at least more so than people like Avril, but admittedly Sale El Sol is not the strongest of albums, and on that matter, neither was She Wolf.

Kelly's new album has been a huge disappointment for me, it has nothing on Ms Kelly and considering my expectations this time last year with 'Commander', it's a huge shame. I am looking forward to her as an X-Factor judge though. She'd totally beat Tulisa in a fight.

Nice position for Robyn, I'd have liked higher but perhaps it was being a bit optimistic. Hugely brilliant back catalogue of course.

Shakira Shakira should be much higher much higher.

I think your good friend russt68 will disagree with you on that one :D

well that's my two favourites out in one fell swoop! dreams of a Shakira-Robyn victory well and truly SHATTERED

Robyn's completely won me over with Body Talk pt. 2 onwards, although I liked her a lot anyway. 'Call Your Girlfriend' - song of the year, easily.

Kelly Rowland is definitely better than Beyonce, but still materialwise hit and miss.

Kelly Rowland will never be as great as Beyonce. Beyonce is THE all-rounder.

Can't actually remember how I voted but I still hope for a Leona/Kelly C/Katy/Rihanna/Beyonce top 5.

I like the fact Kelly has a more natural coolness about her than Beyonce, plus Kelly would never record anything as bad as 'Single Ladies', 'Diva' or 'Run The World'.

Have you not heard her new album then? I have loved Kelly in the past but she's really gone off the boil. I'm That Chick is one of the worst songs I've heard all year.

No I haven't, and I'm in no rush to. However I am morbidly curious to hear that song in question if it's seriously worse than any of those three... :teresa:

Yeah, I got through a minute, if that, of I'm Dat Chick (Dat, seriously?) before turning off. Truly awful. Motivation, Turn It Up and Lay It On Me are the only great songs, the rest are either OK or awful. So much of a step down from Ms Kelly and Simply Deep, though we still have the European version, which could save it![/wishful thinking] Down For Whatever is the next UK single apparently - surefire hit as she's the new X-Factor judge, though sadly it's just a lazy re-hash of On The Floor (though tbf she took so long on the album I expect it was recorded prior to OTF anyway).

Edited by Liаm

I think most of what's on the album has been done very recently and everything from before was scrapped with all the leaks and stuff. I know that Lay It On Me was done in the last couple of months and I read somewhere that Down For Whatever was actually one of Jennifer's rejects...

Oh, so that explains the total OTF rip-off then - Jennifer probably knew the sound she wanted for a comeback single and obviously On The Floor is much better than Down For Whatever so she cast that aside.
