Steps are still my favorite group of all time. Last thing on my mind I agree with Hitstastic is their best. When they released gold it did spend a total of 4 weeks at number one (3 consecutive) but Celine Dions All the way...a decade of hits knocked them off for a week. They were to release Baby don't dance as the next single after the double a side Words are not enough/I know him so well but H and Claire said they were ready to go on the last night of their gold tour (even promotional singles were produced for baby don't dance). All Steps fans had the choice of which song to release off the Buzz Album as the last single they could vote on their official website. Here and now was picked and the second favorite was You'll be sorry (even though the majority of Steps fans think Paradise lost would have been a better choice than you'll be sorry). They wouldn't have released Paradise lost over Better the devil you know Aphrodite as they first performed BTDYK on their next step arena tour (When Steptacular was released) and that was even before they released Deeper shade of blue and I doubt Paradise lost was not even in the pipe line yet.

Paradise Lost should have replaced You'll Be Sorry as the double A-Side to Here and Now, if they kept the videos running into eachother, instead of going to space they could have gone to the desert on a magic carpet or something instead, since Paradise Lost is very Middle-Eastern inspired. Either that or it should have been released after Here and Now/You'll Be Sorry.

If only there was a 'Buzz' tour, surely it would have been performed live, i wish just once they would have done it, I think someone should start a petition or something to get them to do it for this gig.

There was a Buzz tour (it was called Steps Into Christmas though and wasn't released on VHS/DVD) - i don't think Paradise Lost was performed though they did perform It's the Way You Make Me Feel, Stomp, Here and Now, Hand On Your Heart, Learn to Love Again, If You Believe, - and I'm sure Better the Devil You Know and Summer of Love were performed too - don't know about You'll Be Sorry or Turn Around

Yes they do Steps Into Christmas and the setlist was if I remeber correctly:

1. Tragedy: (W.I.P Reception Mix)

2. Better The Devil You Know.

3. Better Best Forgotten.

4. It's The Way You Make Me Feel. (Official video shown before performance)

5. One For Sorrow.

6. Heartbeat.

7. All I Want For Christmas Is You. (Sang by Lisa)

8. If You Believe. (Sang by Faye)

9. Deeper Shade Of Blue (Sleazesisters Anthem Mix)

10. Here and Now.

11. In It For Love. (Sang by Claire)

12. Learn To Love Again. (Sang by H)

13. Turn Around. (Sang by Lee and the rest came on stage towards the end of the song)

14. Last Thing On My Mind.

15. Stomp.

16. Christmas Medley.

17. Merry Christmas Everybody.

Better the devil you know was first performed on the Next Step arena tour and the footage for the video is what was recorded when they performed it live on Halloween back in 1999.

And also this was in the sunday mirror today by Dean Piper (It's only hearsay at the moment)

"Steps are, er, stepping up their comeback bid with plans for a UK tour in November on the back of their new Sky Living show. My sources tell me plans are more than a little bit under way for a year of graft, including live dates, a new album and a greatest hits package. "They're talking about live dates as early as November." says my mole. "But they're desperately looking for the right manager to take them on for the next year or so." I can't wait for a cheertastic trip down memory lane.

OMFG I hope so :w00t:

I hope that if it's true and they do tour it will be more Take That than East 17, it would be awful to see them not shifting any tickets :drama:

I can't see their sort of music working in the charts at all any more but it would be amazing if they could somehow make a big return!

It really would, I'm sure that enough time has elapsed for their to be the sufficient nostalgia to do well. It worked for Boyzone... Whatever, I am SOOOO going to the tour
