Mine took about 10 minutes and people are saying that its taking them days

I am :)

How are you? I see those riots are getting closer, you okay?

The riots are worrying, I have friends in London and Birmingham, plus one of my cousins live in Birmingham. I was busy contacting them via Facebook and text last night.

sky news is telling people to stay away from manchester now, thats about 20 minutes away from me (by car with no traffic & roadworks). i'm worried though because i live in a town center, i wanted an early night tonight!!!
It might well be that nothing happens where you are. I hope so anyway.
Fingers and toes crossed that nothing happens Laur. I did read in the thread in the Lounge that it is rumoured to be in Essex and Suffolk at some point.

I hope so regina, I stayed up until 11pm last night watching the news, and I was up at 6am this morning :nocheer: so i wanted an early night tonight. I called my mum earlier, she said if it kicks off where I am, get my things, and the cats, and stay with her tonight, bless her

I've been avoiding the news and papers due to this, I know there is nothing going on up here but its still scary to think about :(

About 20-30 mins by car. I'm in bed now, hoping I can get a decent nights sleep! News looks bad in Manchester but no where near as bad as it looked in London. Some shops have been attacked and some set on fire :(
Well, I hope nothing bad happens next to you and that you get a peaceful nights sleep.

I cannot believe the things I'm reading about the riots on Twitter. It's bad reading about it when it's somewhere you don't know. But when it's a place you live, shop, visit regular, it's a million times worse
Maybe its best not to read about it on twittwe/the news etc? Its only gonna circle in your mind and that isn't good for you :(
