October 2, 201113 yr I think what they mean is, Olly said he would strip IF he got to #1 - he did get to #1, so he fulfilled what he said he would do In someways thats worse, as I'm sure he would have got a few more extra copies sold from his fans to see this, which he may not have got otherwise
October 3, 201113 yr Most of his performances were boring though, having dancers doesn't mean you have less talent than someone who just stands still for a whole song. Unique talent? Not really, he is talented, I'll give you that, but he isn't unique or original. Olly only stripped AFTER he got to #1 :P and I for one was very happy to see that, the hottie that he is. No they weren't. As evident of him being Top 3 almost every week as well as #1 for 4 weeks straight. No one was thinking he was boring. ;) Having dancers and big production mean you don't have talent yourself to carry a performance. You have to use props to make yourself look good because you don't have any talent yourself. Joe as well as others (Adele, Florence, Michael Buble, Katherine Jenkins, and Whitney, to name a few) it is not about standing there. ;) He is unique as an artist. He proved that. He has an exceptional tone to his voice as well as having a great personality and exceptional good looks. There is one Joe. :D :) What artist strips for a #1?! Really sad that you have to sell your body for sales. Really classy there. But what do you expect, he calls girls "dogs"; he cancelled a fan gig for a TV show; and he walks away and did not respect Lloyd. He was backed by dozens of dancers, wearing All Saints from toes to head, and was having big production going around him. So by your definition, it means he hadn't any talent, and that's why he relied on so many tricks to make the performance look big ...

So the likes of Kylie Minogue, Rihanna, Lady Gaga etc. have no talent because they have dancers when the perform? I can name at least 10 artists right now who have good tone, a great personality and are good looking. Olly shows he has a personality, if you don't like it then thats okay, but he got himself another #1 a matter of weeks ago without the gimmick of saying he'd strip. How many #1 singles has Joe had?

Joe already proved his talent on X Factor, and it is pretty impressive he was able to sing that song live. It is not an easy song to sing and he had to move around. Well done. Anyway, that is why he left Syco, and moved to Universal. Syco really has been crap and to their other artists (Leona being one and upsetting). Edited October 3, 201113 yr by jonmove

What is your point of these ladies? All of them have distinctive voices that carries their performances. Not the other way around. They might use dancers, but they are not hiding anything with their voices. But look at Adele rising above all of them and showing you don't need big production really, but just show off the talent of your voice. And, that is what true talent is about, and will last. Joe (Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse, and Jessie J) can agree as his win from X Factor was about his voice. He wasn't media whoring or letting the production carry his performances compared to others. He just went out there, sang and proved to everyone his unique talent. :) Yes, from disrespecting others (Lloyd) to calling girls "dogs" to cancelling a fan gig for a TV show at the last minute where fans could not get a refund, that is such a classy personality. Joe has gotten his #1 already, and more respect from the industry than Olly can strip for. How many #1 singles did Michael Buble get or Andrea Bocelli or Katherine Jenkins? The answer is none, and they are so unsuccessful. Michael Buble, Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston, Adele, and Katherine Jenkins would give up their #1 single (if they have any) if they have a chance to sing for the Queen & Royal Family. October 3, 201113 yr Joe McElderry is boring, so what if he can sings he's just... boring. Singing doesn't always get you anywhere if you're complete boring as hell. Leona is another example who is boring but relied on a big hit in order to be worldwide known. I do however give Joe props for actually reviving his career after his debut disaster.
October 3, 201113 yr http://oi51.tinypic.com/sm7cd4.jpg My point was that you said artists who use dancers have no talent themselves, I mentioned them because they are known to use dancers. Your statement means that they must have no talent, which is bullshit. Joe has respect but so does Olly, just from different aspects of the industry. I wouldn't say he has more though. I give up on you, you are so far up Joe's arse that you refuse anyone to have a negative view on him. I did not say that. You said that. Anyway, that is a general accurate statement, and it is usually the case. Adele, Whitney Houston, Michael Buble, and Andrea Bocelli proves that and that is not "bullshit." :D Given what Joe has been through, Joe has major respect, and also with Katherine and Rolando being genuinely impress and supportive. And this big middle finger to Syco and Simon, is respected given how Syco has been awful to Joe (and other artists -- Leona, Shayne, and others) when they deserved more. You are the one that comes here in a thread about Joe's new album and started attacking Joe, not me. So don't start accusing me when I am just right. But Olly must have f**ked you from the arse all the way to the brain with his hat that you are just a negative person, and can't be happy for others anymore. I am not the one who started this whole argument. ;) Edited October 3, 201113 yr by jonmove

October 3, 201113 yr This isn't loon central, ffs loon down and let people dislike Joe... By your logic, people who love Olly shouldn't tolerate Olly bashing. So stop with the Olly bashing, he's successful and thus no-one can dislike him... And dear god Regina is like the least negative person ever!!!
October 3, 201113 yr If only, dear little loon, if only. So you are mentality f**ked up. Good job! And just be aware, you started this unnecessary argument. ;) People are allowed to like Joe in his OWN thread. There is a reason why he won fair and square. Great job Joe! Happy for you, unlike some people who can't be happy for others and negative. Edited October 3, 201113 yr by jonmove
October 3, 201113 yr That's maybe going a teeny bit too far  Just get your head of McElderry's arse, and realise it's called an OPINION. Go google it babes :) Edited October 3, 201113 yr by Liаm

October 3, 201113 yr So you are mentality f**ked up. Good job! And just be aware, you started this unnecessary argument. ;) Lets keep it down with the personal attacks, ok. I'm not liking the way you're attacking anyone who has a different view to you in here. This is a discussion forum, not a shrine to Almighty McElderry. The bit I've bolded above, and the bit Regina bolded in the quote in his last post really don't sit right with me. Please don't carry on like that. I actually liked Wide Awake. The guy may be bland, but he has a good voice, and there was a bit of personality (not much, a bit) on that album. An album full of covers, while I applaud its success, isn't exciting me at all, and it's not for me. It's the same for a lot of others here.

People are allowed to LIKE him in his OWN thread, and support him. It is called SUPPORT and happy for him. Google that and also "mental retardedness from hats". There might be a cure.

I didn't mean to be harsh, but Regina started this whole think by saying "up Joe's arse". As you can see, I was just stating some information and didn't get personal. That was unnecessary and uncalled for when I was just putting out my opinion on the matter, and just discussing Joe's album before this whole thing started by Regina. October 3, 201113 yr Yep, Olly's hat got me too, I loved it :) I'm not saying you're not allowed to like him, I'm just trying to stop you being needlessly horrible to people who don't.... If any has mental RETARDATION (at least use the correct word if you're gonna insult me) it's you. This forum is about all opinion, not just the deluded loons like you who attack everyone in sight... And ftr I'm not even a Joe hater - I really enjoyed Wide Awake.

That was unnecessary and uncalled for when I was just putting out my opinion on the matter, and just discussing Joe's album before this whole thing started by Regina. Knowing Regina, I am quite sure it was just a joke (and from my own personal point of view, there are far better ways to put across your arguments without acting like how you were before in this thread, which again, was hardly friendly). There's no need to overreact and call him 'mentally retarded' and this is not good at all: So Olly must have f**ked you with his hat as well and it is still stuck in your brain. Get over yourself. We are in a JOE thread and just talking about his new album. People are allowed to LIKE him in his OWN thread, and support him. It is called SUPPORT and happy for him. Google that and also "mental retardedness from hats". There might be a cure. Do try and be accepting of people with other opinions on Joe, ok, or at least be nice to them, and we'll get along fine. I do have my eye on you, so try and tread carefully. Regina, be gentle with this one.
