IT'S TIME. (Finally). The results are here! Thank you to the # people who submitted rates, and waited eagerly for the results. I'm going to begin counting down the songs, by ascending averages, until we reach Buzzjack's favourite Kelly Rowland single.

Here's the list of singles to remind you all, and please feel free to speculate which song will win, or won't, within this thread!

'Dilemma' (with Nelly) [2002]

'Stole' [2003]

'Can't Nobody' [2003]

'Train On A Track' [2003]

'Here We Go' (with Trina) [2006]

'Like This' (with Eve) [2007]

'Work' (Freemasons Remix) [2008]

'Daylight' (with Travis McCoy) [2008]

'When Love Takes Over' (with David Guetta) [2009]

'Commander' (with David Guetta) [2010]

'Forever And A Day' [2010]

'Invincible' (with Tinie Tempah) [2011]

'Gone' (with Nelly) [2011]

'Motivation' (with Lil' Wayne) [2011]

'What A Feeling' (with Alex Gaudino) [2011]

I have now counted the results, and I can reveal that:

- There was a comfortable winner.

- The average score received is 7.443

- The harshest rater was SceneofSIXCrimes, whose average score given was a measly 4.7.

- The most generous rater was Liam (quelle surprise! :P) with an average score of 8.9.

- There is but one tie...!

I'll post the first song shortly, but until then, start the speculations...

#15 - 'GONE' (with Nelly) - 5.650

UK: #58

I'll do it all again if I have to,

throw this money at you

girl you know you got me gone

Finishing in last place is the recent reunion single of Nelly and Kelly, originally billed as the "sequel to 'Dilemma'", 'Gone'. And that, it was not. It's a nice enough song, but it lacks a decent chorus and doesn't contain any of the elements which make the former such a brilliant, classic duet. The song was released as a single earlier this year, and failed to set any charts alight, peaking at a measly #58 here in the UK.

Average of EIGHT POINT 9! :drama:

Oh dear, I really am too generous with scores!

Anyway, glad Gone is last it's pretty bland...

Stole ftw  I'd be happy with Motivation (yeah right :(), Dilemma, Like This, Work, Commander or When Love Takes Over winning too though.

#14 - 'HERE WE GO' (with Trina) - 5.800

UK: #15

that's why I'm packin’ up my jewels,

grabbin’ up my furs,

I'll be back for all my shoes and purses

Up next is the 2006 SMASH-HIT single by Trina, which features Dame Kelly. The song is pretty much completely forgotten, and I doubt anyone knew it without searching it up. I gave it a listen, and it was pretty dull. Kelly only sings the hook, which is quite sweet, but Trina's rapping is pretty bad - and the song itself sounds quite dated anyway.

OH I would've taken part in this :( I hope Stole, Work, Commander and What A Feeling are all quite high (they probably will be tbh). Motivation also deserves to be up there. The bottom two are exactly as I would've rated.

#12 - 'INVINCIBLE' (with Tinie Tempah) - 6.659

UK: #11

there's evidence that proves that you were heaven sent,

'cos when I needed rescuin’, you were there at my defence

The first song in the tie for #12 is 'Invincible', which happens to be Kelly's most successful single of 2011 so far. It's a nice hip hop ballad, again featuring Kelly on the hook. I did love it for a long time when it was released, and whilst I do still like it, it's a bit weak for both of their standards (so much so that it was excluded from the US release of Tinie's album!)

#12 - 'FOREVER AND A DAY' - 6.659

UK: #49

I wanna scream your name, out to the sky, let it shine with the stars

now that you lit the flame don't let it die, just let it burn

Also at 12 is the second single from the UK/Europe 'Here I Am' campaign. Whilst the US got the more R&B-suited 'Rose Colored Glasses' and 'Grown Woman', the UK was given this, 'Forever and a Day', which was just another Guetta production, and a dance number trying to cash in on 'Commander''s success. It failed, hard, and whilst I was a bit disappointed at the time, it's not exactly the strongest of songs (and a rather bizarre choice to release, given some of the other dance-y songs that leaked from the album were MUCH better).

In hindsight, a 9 would've sufficed for Invicible, I am too over-generous with scores, but I am working on it. See J-Lo - Love? rate in my sig![/shamelessplug]

i def did not forget about 'Here We Go'!!!

i dont mind abou Gone coming in last place but think forever and a day should have followed this!

i think its quite obvius that 'work' will win this (although not my personal fav) !!

#11 - 'WHAT A FEELING' (with Alex Gaudino) - 6.841

UK: #6

boy you got my attention, what's up? (my heart is beating)

no one's got me opened so much (I think I'm dreaming)

Just missing the top ten is Kelly's most recent song to impact the UK charts, the collaboration with Italian dance DJ Alex Gaudino. This peaked in the top ten upon its release, but has since fell down the charts rapidly, and I can't see it being very well remembered in the future. I did love it upon first listen, but it was evident that Gaudino was trying to cash in on Kelly's success with David Guetta and his 'When Love Takes Over' collaboration.

I remember it and it's been on my iPod since its release! I always found it really nice although Trina's surpassed it since with her Keri collab Million Dollar Girl. Not surprised at its position here though...

#10 - 'TRAIN ON A TRACK' - 7.100

UK: #20

saw dark clouds blow; chased by rainbows,

saw two roses bloom; just like me and you

Kicking off the top ten, it's Kelly's fourth single from the Simply Deep album, which became her lowest charting single up until that point. It's a nice little ballad, but it lacks the power of both 'Stole' and 'Can't Nobody', so it's therefore unsurprising that it places lower of the three on this countdown.

#09 - 'DAYLIGHT' (feat. Travis McCoy) - 7.250

UK: #14

and it looks like daylight's gonna get me up again,

most people like getting up when I'm just getting in

And now time for the third and final UK single from the Ms. Kelly album (campaign), 'Daylight'. This Bobby Womack cover was originally recorded for the US re-release of the album, entitled Ms. Kelly: Diva Deluxe, before being included on the UK re-release, and was then released as the single to follow up the smash hit 'Work'. Anyway, onto the song itself, it's a nice enough mid-tempo song, but lacks the high-NRG of the latter song. Buzzjack evidently like it though, as it scored fairly highly among most people.

#08 - 'LIKE THIS' (feat. Eve) - 7.500

UK: #4

told y'all I was gonna bump like this,

y'all didn't think that I could bump like this

At 8 is the first single from Ms. Kelly, the underrated 'Like This'. I perhaps didn't rate this as highly as I should've, giving it only an eight (whereas I gave 'Daylight' - an inferior song - an 8.5). Oops! Anyway, this is another mid-tempo, and it was a great start to the era for Kelly! The hook is incredibly infectious, and Eve's rap is quite good too. This song definitely deserves to have placed higher, and I'm sure St. Joliver or whatever he's trying to mark himself as now will be weeping.
