The Smirnoff Co. launches the next Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project with the audacious goal of getting 10 million people to discover, share and swap the most original nightlife experiences in 50 countries. The Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project is an ambitious attempt to discover the world's most unique and interesting nightlife, culminating in one-of-a-kind experiences on the same night all over the world. This year, Madonna joins the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project to find the best dancer to join her next tour.

 

The Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project is the first component of a multi-faceted agreement between Madonna and her partner Live Nation and Diageo, the parent company of The Smirnoff Co, with more details to be released in the coming months.

 

Revellers worldwide are invited to co-create and participate in the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project by contributing ideas on what makes their local nightlife distinct in the categories of drinks, dance, fashion, music, places, and more creating a nightlife cocktail of unique events. The most inspiring suggestions from each region will be captured online and then exchanged with another country in November. By participating online, fans will have the chance to win a place at one of the global events or experience another country's party at a Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project event in their own city. One of the consistent aspects in nightlife culture around the world is the importance of dance. As well as submitting ideas on what makes their country's nightlife special, fans can enter an exclusive dance competition online. Madonna will attend one of the selected Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project experiences where finalists will compete in front of her for the winning spot. The winner may get the opportunity to join Madonna on her next tour as one of her dancers.

Madonna will attend the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project event in New York City on November 12, it was confirmed today by Live Nation Entertainment.

The event will include the search to find the most unique, and innovative dancer who performs in front of Madonna and her long-time choreographers, Rich + Tone. The last dancer standing at the end of the epic dance-off has the chance of winning the coveted prize and becoming part of her official dance crew.

 

Semi-finalists from the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project online dance competition will be flown from select countries to the global dance hub of the world: New York City. While there, they have the chance to audition in front of Madonna and hundreds of Smirnoff fans at a one-of-a-kind worldwide event that celebrates dance and global original nightlife experiences.

 

"Since it all began for me in New York City, it makes perfect sense to be choosing the winner of the dance competition here where someone else will get their big start. And the dancers get a chance to work with Rich + Tone - two of the greatest choreographers who I've worked with on my tours for many years. To kick-off the competition, Rich + Tone are holding live auditions for residents of New York and Connecticut on September 8, 2011 between 7:30AM 1PM at Broadway Dance Center, 322 West 45th Street, New York, NY to select one lucky dancer who will join the online finalists from select countries across the globe at the November event. Whether it's krumping, salsa, pointe, pop and locking, or lyrical, dancers are invited to put their skills to the test for the ultimate prize. Rich + Tone are two of the best choreographers in the business, collaborating with Madonna on three of her tours including her Hard Candy Tour, as well as working on numerous other artist productions. Nightlife Exchange Project open auditions in London this Friday!

 

The Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project competition will kick-off in Great Britain on Friday, September 23rd, it has been announced.

 

Smirnoff are teaming up with well known Pineapple Dance Studios to host open audition filming this Friday between 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Pineapple Dance Studios, 7 Langley Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JA.

 

Whether its krumping, salsa, pointe, pop and locking, or lyrical, dancers are invited to put their skills to the test for the ultimate prize.

 

For those hopefuls unable to make the open audition filming, aspiring dancers are encouraged to upload a 60-second video of their most original routine by October 10 to be selected for one of the ten spots at the November live auditions. Entrants must be 21 years old and over.

Madonna to Select Best Dancer Out of Eleven Finalists From Around the Globe as Part of the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project at NYC's Roseland - November 12th

 

Smirnoff and Live Nation Entertainment today announced that Madonna, the world's number one female artist, and Smirnoff, the world's number one vodka will be celebrating the best nightlife experiences around the globe including discovering the best dancer to join Madonna's dance crew at Roseland Ballroom on Saturday, November 12, 2011.

 

This incredible dance party is part of the Smirnoff Nighlife Exchange Project, an unparalleled cultural exchange where an anticipated 10 million people will get to discover, share and swap the most original nightlife experience in 50 countries.

 

The global dance celebration will feature dance performances from each of the eleven finalists who were selected from the hundreds of dancers from around the globe from countries including Belgium, Japan, Great Britain, the US and The Netherlands all of whom submitted videos and auditioned to join Madonna's dance crew.

 

With Shay Normann as the artistic director and choreographer for the event, the eleven finalists have also been working with Madonna's long-time choreographers Rich + Tone, in hopes of winning the top prize.

 

Madonna has hand picked DJ and Producer Martin Solveig to headline the event. Solveig has been collaborating with Madonna in the studio for her upcoming album. Hardy "Indigo" Muanza and Vikter Duplaix will also be spinning custom mixes.

 

Madonna has never strayed far from her dance roots in New York City. "Even with my crazy schedule, any chance I get to be on a dance floor in New York with fabulous music and incredible dancers is still my idea of a perfect evening.
