Ahhhhhhh!!!!! I was a bit iffy about Amazing being chosen as the single, but I am madly in love with it now. Mail in Mexico is TERRIBLE, I ordered his album like in October and received it like last week! I hope to find the Amazing EP somewhere, cause a new song is a new song!! <3

It's an extremely boring album but I ADORE the title track.

Awful choice of third single, it should have been Stars and Lovers or Pull Me Under. Something that will actually stand a chance of getting radio play. Amazing wont break the top 200.

Considering how badly the singles have been doing for him the album is holding on reasonably well, i think it will eventually reach platnum sales which is good, i think he will definitly get to release a 2nd album now but i would think he will be under pressure in that it needs a killer lead single as without that i would be worried about how his second album would perform, i like matt and like his album and would love for him to remain successful.

Yes, 100%, he needs a killer single to let everyone know that he is still here! But then could you imagine him doing a club anthem..probably not, so he's gonna have to probably follow the Bruno mars infuence and see what happens.

Given how low the non-holiday sales are, I really don't see much being added to that total no matter which record is Radio 2's song of the week/month. This will be lucky to sell 300K. Not shabby, but given that even Rebecca Ferguson sold 410K albums in 2011 only on the strength of 1 single, this looks quite bad.

`Amazing` reminds me of `Snow Patrol - Run`. Its not bad though and `Starlight` was so much better than `Run For Your Life`. He should get another album, but I do agree where others have cited that he needs a top lead single next time around.

I really like amazing, he performed on the late late show tonight here in ireland and it did great live plus did an interview, hopefully the song can do something for him and also add some album sales.

I watched the Late Late Show and he seemed very humble in his interview but the performance of Amazing really showed up how inadequate it is as a single. On the album its ok but when he performed it it just didnt seem to go anywhere.

He should have gone for Stars and Lovers or Pull me Under, at least they are uplifting songs that mainstream radio would pick up, Amazing will hinder his progress rather than help him step out of the XF shadow

Well unfortunatlyu the performance hasn done much for him as the single is nowhere to be seen on the Irish top 100 itunes :angry:

Really cannot wait for this.
