Sam always just looks so at home when she’s Kim. I won’t be able to tolerate her being the stalker though. It’s just seems for too petty for her. I will be interested to see her and Zoe interact after all this time but that’s what I thought about Anthony and look where we are now.

Never fussed with Deja Vu though I don’t hate it. Her non no.1 hits that year were better and sold more too.

I’m not being funny but how on Earth are Limp Bizkit in the top 5 and still not looking to leave?

I love No Tomorrow and it would probably be easily top 5 for me. It was unlucky to get that record. The four weeks either side of its stint at no.1 it sold over 20k so it was just an extremely quiet week. The song itself feels like 2006 personified-I remember going to parties and actually clubbing for the first time as I turned 18 later that year and this just just seemed like a soundtrack to that time. I loved their album too, my favourite of the year after I’m Not Dead.

They do but in a soap, the beauty is seeing the change happen over that time. Anthony has been off screen for almost two whole decades and is suddenly brought back as a villain? The writing for that is as poor as it is for most other things right now.

Anthony was never a great character but what even is this character assassination? He was NEVER a creep.

You can actually see that Jessie Wallace is struggling to deliver this crap. And when the least annoying thing in the scene is Alfie, that’s a real problem!

Zoe was never a great character and nor was Anthony. They were remembered for their storylines. Zoe for the Kat reveal and Den’s murder, Anthony for his unsuitable relationship with Kat which is more remembered for her and being Paul’s straight laced brother. Bringing them both back is destroying any legacies they had. Was it Jean? Who cares? There are some good points. Boutique Hotel is the new ‘it’s Elaine’. I also like Ian and Lauren’s relationship.

Yeah I remember it was pretty much expected that George would get the no.1. I don’t even think I heard Believe until the chart show it was announced at the top. I remember my Nan thinking it was wonderful that someone nearer her age got to no.1 😂

When did it become Anthony’s character to bs so creepy. He was NEVER like that. I’m not sure they can drag this out until Christmas. Also Lauren has always been one of the most perceptive characters. How on Earth would she ever fall for a scam? It’d make more sense if it was Peter. Jean used to be a favourite of mine but she’s so awful these days. I don’t know why she’s still in the show. Anna just isn’t Cindy’s daughter is she? She has none of the fire that Gina has or Cindy jnr or that Lucy had. I’m surprised hers and Freddie’s exits are being this dragged out.

I can’t at it dragging until Christmas. Probably will be Sam then but why would she be hanging around stalking Zoe from the shadows instead of, you know, seeing her family?

My favourite part is Elaine who is supposed to be some pub quiz champion never holding her own pub quiz in her two years as landlady.

It’s a mystery that should have been solved by the end of the first week. It’s been going on since at least Halloween. There can no longer be a satisfactory reveal. I believe Who Shot Phil was wrapped up in fewer weeks!
