On February 21st 1998 Madonna made her first performance in three years (since You'll See) on UK tv by performing Frozen on the National Lottery just two days before Frozen was released.

i wrote a letter to the bbc begging for tickets, they wrote back and said there was none available! I was offered noel edmonds house party tickets tho!

That's bad, I bet you that audience was 95% of non fans. This was a big "comeback" event for Madonna and the UK public.
