October 19, 201113 yr Ten tracks through now and it's quite brilliant. Aside from SIO, I'd say 'Heartlines' has stood out the most so far. :wub:
October 20, 201113 yr Listened to this last night (with a brief interlude from One Direction in the middle), it's very, very good. I think it needs a few more listens to properly sink in and before I can make a concrete decision on how it compares to 'Lungs' though. Bu it's definitely a consistently strong album.
October 20, 201113 yr It's a great album but I think Lungs beats it. It feels more.. alive. I don't know, Ceremonials feels like it's a Lungs 2.0 too much for me to really love it as much as Lungs itself. But I still do like it! Shake It Out is one of the worst on it though.

October 21, 201113 yr It really annoys me that Shake It Out was the lead single. It's not very good and it's not all that "Florence" either. Spectrum screamed MASSIVE FIRST SINGLE and it will surely be the Cosmic Love of the album (as in, not being released until the end of the campaign) now that No Light, No Light is supposedly the second single.

October 23, 201113 yr I keep coming back to Strangeness And Charm. I think it's the best thing she's ever done. It is just so... epic.

The rest is absolute filler.

October 26, 201113 yr Ceremonials is definitely one of my favourite albums released this year. I wasn't sure what to expect after how amazing Lungs was and I was almost expecting to be disappointed, but I was totally blown away. Without exaggerating I really like every song on the album, with my favourite being Spectrum - it has to be released at some point! I'm looking forward to seeing her perform on the X Factor, hopefully it will give her a hit with No Light, No Light and give her album sales a boost too.
October 26, 201113 yr What a great start to the era with the best promo slot around, X Factor! Big first week sales for this album, probably will be very consistent too, unfortunately not happening in the singles chart, but hey you cant always have both. :lol:
October 26, 201113 yr I've just listened to the song and it's very good! Great, anthem-like chorus (although not as good as 'Shake it Out''s), and it sounds like something that would be really good live. Hopefully the performance will be as good as their BRITs one from last year.
