"Party" is being sent to Urban on 30.08.11

Very predictable urban single. I think it is pretty crap tbh, but I hope she can at least get a semi hit out of it since she has underperformed with the first two singles in America

I thought this was going to be the third single for a moment! It's a nice song (that will probably be eaten up by US urban), but wouldn't work here. I hope they officially announce 'End of Time' soon! :D

I loooove this song. It's so slick and I love the harmonies. It wouldn't work as a single in the UK however, as people have said.

Not keen on Party tbh, glad it's only a US urban single rather than a third US single, it will work on radio but I don't it'll work too well commercially, even in the US.

Honestly, her best song in a LONG time.

 

Andre's rap is fab!

Beyoncé has added J. Cole to the official remix for her song "Party". The Kanye West written and produced cut also features rapper André 3000. The video was shot in New Jersey in August and will feature cameos by Solange Knowles and Kelly Rowland. J. Cole shot his cameo On October 7th.

I've not idea who J. Cole is, but I've grown to love Andre's rap in this, so hopefully that's not removed :D

Beyoncé will premiere her video for "Party" on BET's "106 & Park" next Tuesday and by the looks of it, André 3000 won't appear in the clip. Instead, J. Cole now appears on the official version to the Kanye West-produced single off 4.

Seems a bit pointless. I actually quite like André's rap, so it'll seem weird hearing a different one in the video. Plus it's not that good :lol:

Such a good video! :D I've actually really enjoyed all the videos this era, with the exception of 'Love on Top'. Hoping this is another big hit Stateside for her :D

 

ETA: Oh, and both 'Beyonce [sic] Party' and 'Andre [sic] 3000' are trending on Twitter, thanks to the video :D

I really like the video - it suits the song perfectly. I still think the song is one of the best on '4' too. I'm glad it's not released here though because I can't imagine it doing very well at all.
