Adele maybe singing the next James Bond Theme!!

Adele, who appeared on the first episode of The Jonathan Ross Show show alongside Lewis Hamilton and Sarah Jessica Parker, also told the eponymous host she is returning to the studio in two months' time.

And while the Grammy award winner confirmed she is to work on new material as a follow up to the critically-acclaimed 21, released in January this year, she also let slip an exclusive.

'I'm going back in the studio in November. Fingers crossed,' the 23-year-old star said.

'Although this is actually a theme, what I've got to do.'

She added with a sheepish smile: 'Wow, that's really giving something away...'

It has been rumoured in the past that Adele would record a Bond theme, so it didn't take long for Ross to realise what the music star might be referring to.

As the TV personality started to hum the tunes of famous Bond themes, Adele blushed and became embarrassed about what she had revealed to the audience.

She quickly back-tracked, telling him: 'No, it's a concept, it's one song!'

With the episode due to air tonight, Ross has been speaking about the possibility that his new series might be a flop, claiming he wouldn't mind if it wasn't recommissioned.

He told Time Out: 'At ITV the show will either do well and be re-commissioned or do badly and stop.

'And I would be comfortable with either option.'

The Jonathan Ross Show launches tonight on ITV1 at 10pm, joining Ross on his new sofa.
