Posted September 3, 201113 yr I have noticed that 2004 had a lot of songs with swearing that were big hits. The Eamon/Frankee saga, Khia's infamous yet strangely erotic "My Neck. My Back and Crack". I am certain "Blinded By The Lights" and "Fit But You Know It" by Mike Skinner (The Streets) had swearing in there. "My Happy Ending" by Avril Lavigne, and a few others. Is 2004 a record holder with the amount of songs with swearing in the charts?
September 3, 201113 yr Author My Neck, My Back was such a tune. I was listening to it just yesterday! Such a great song!! I listen to it often ;) I remember buying it for a friend who wanted CD1 and CD2 and going into Woolies saying (as I didn't know it too well) "do you have that song called my pussy and crack?"....she was a bit red-faced and pointed to the CD single aisle.
September 3, 201113 yr i used to love I dont want you back, looking back, I was 9 and it seems fairly ridiculous I ever liked it!

Have you heard the mashup with Lady GaGa's Judas? It's pretty amazing: http://theglitterlab.tumblr.com/post/94324...ady-gaga-mashup
September 3, 201113 yr Looking at the YTD top 50 for 2011, songs that get censored in some way on the radio are: S&M Sweat Do It Like a Dude Yeah 3x Champion Where Them Girls At What's My Name? Coming Home We R Who We R Buzzin' Super Bass I Need a Doctor Black and Yellow Perfect Judas Forget You (this is in 2011's year-end top 50?) That's 16 out of 50. I've probably missed out a couple, but that seems like quite a low amount actually.
