Because all im seeing its people using the words "estimate" "guessing" "may" "could" "should". These are not facts, just peoples opinion.

At the end of the year we could take the total album sales of 2011 compared to the total album sales of whenthe Spices' albums are released and scale appropriately which would give a fairly accurate and factually correct comparison.

 

Until then, no, they can't be compared to any accurate degree.

The only way I would say she was bigger album wise is if she could have 2 albums sell betwenn 15 million each. Then I would say she was a bigger album artist and has sustained it, just like the Spice Girls did.

As I said, I'd consider Adele's album to be relatively more or less successful than 'Spice' when scaling it with the total album sales in 2011 compared to the total album sales of the year(s) Spice was big in. Say one album sold 10 million in a year with 200 million total album sales and another album sold 8 million in a year with 150 million total sales. The second album is relatively bigger when you scale it (i.e multiply by one and a third). Just an example. :P

Omg yes it does. If you are going by volume sold, which I was. I was pointing out FACTS. The fact is Spice Girls sold more. So facts on VOLUME FACTS. They are bigger.

Do people really think Adele will have another huge selling album that captivates the world as much as 21? I'd be very very surprised if her 3rd album even sells half as much as 21!
