Now I understand why you love them so much!! They definatly look good :cheer:

I remember having a babysitter who spent all evening sewing tartan onto her clothes ready for a Bay City Rollers gig :D

They sold a phenomenal amount of records too. Probably even more than Robbie. :o

And they ended up with virtually no money from any of it. All quite sad.

They made a big mistake going on American TV if I recall. They had a docu about them recently and that is where it started to go all wrong. I think it was a childrens series.

Not sure. I know they had a big punch up on stage in Japan.
Lovelight is at number 15 (last week 25) In UK downloads

Where is Justin T? <_<

jups, do we really want to know...? I bet he's in the Top 10 already, if not top 5. <_<

If Lovelight doesn't chart next weekend on downloads only its chances of becoming top 5 the following week are pretty bad, right...? I'm defenitely not an expert on the UK charts, but that's the impression I've got lately, correct me if I'm wrong there.

Probably. -_-

I just don't understand the UK singles chart any more. I've come to the conclusion that no-one over the age of 20 buys (or downloads) singles these days. It's a very child/teenage oriented chart I think.

And that's not good news for Robbie. <_<

Uk downloads 01.11.2006

#1 (new ) McFly - Star Girl

#2 (new) Fedde Le Grand - Put Your Hands Up For Detroit

#3 (3) Girls Aloud - Something Kinda Ooooh

#4 (1) Razorlight - America

#5 (2) My Chemical Romance - Welcome To The Black Parade

#14 (19) Justin Timberlake Ft Ti - Let Me Talk To You Prelude My Love

#15 (25) Robbie Williams - Lovelight

#17 (12) Justin Timberlake - Sexyback

Hmmmm. Not much difference then. <_<

But that Justin song is so dire. :o

That's better than I expected - Robbie is catching up with JT :) still expect JT to chart higher though :(
So is it only the downloads in this coming week that count then? (The week before the physical release?). I think we had this conversation when Rudebox was released.

That's right Jupoter - downloads from today to next saturday will count for next weeks chart.

Though the OCC rules will change in January 2007 (see Chart Chat thread for more details)

You could be right there. RW fans are just too old

But honestly, I think Rob's struggling in the singles charts has to do, at least in some respect, with the

new download regulations.

So, JT is only one place ahead of Rob, I expected worse.

I have long given up hope that Lovelight could get to no. 1, fingers crossed it will make it into the top 5.

Not even that seems certain to me these days

And whatever will be no. 1 in that week, just hope it won't be JT (although I'm pretty sure he will chart higher than Rob -_- ).

Oh dear! The Bay City Rollers - that takes me back! I liked Les best.

All very embarrassing now!

Lovelight has dropped in the UK airplay charts this week from 8 to 12.

That's not good, it's meant to be going up as the relase date is getting closer, not going down

Aren't there a few people from the UK who would fancy requesting it on the radio...?
