March 5, 201213 yr Surprised no one has posted this yet -04F4yixF1Y Tinchy Stryder feat. Pixie Lott- Bright Lights @ Let's Dance For Sport Relief
March 8, 201213 yr It's been confirmed that ''All About Tonight'' is gonna be released as the first single of Pixie in USA. It will be out on iTunes soon so will on the radio. Also, Pixie will be promoting the album in Japan next month. All About Tonight was released there this week and it's has been played by over 30 radios stations already. The track ''Dancing On My Own'' wich features Marty James will be modified for the Japonese edition of ''Young Foolish Happy''. Now it's Dancing On My Own with GD&TOP (from BIGBANG). Also the deluxe editon over there will have Mama Do, Boys and Girls and Cry Me Out as bonus track. The deluxe version will be released there on 21st March.
March 8, 201213 yr *Asian fan comes in* Big Bang‘s G-Dragon and T.O.P will be featuring in English artist Pixie Lott‘s new album. The boys lent their voice for the track “Dancing On My Own” on Pixie Lott’s upcoming Japanese version of her album ‘YOUNG FOOLISH HAPPY‘ that drops on March 21st. The news was reported through Universal Music Japan‘s official website. As soon as pre-sales for the album began, the fans noticed ‘GD&TOP‘ written next to track 8, “Dancing On My Own”. It goes without saying that their feature on the song significantly raised expectations for Pixie’s new album. Pixie Lott was born in 1991 and debuted in 2009 with her single “Mama Do“, which climbed high on the charts along with her follow-up track “Boys And Girls“. Meanwhile, G-Dragon and T.O.P of Big Bang made their debut in Korea as ‘GD&TOP’ in 2010, and became an instant sensation with their songs “Oh Yeah” and ‘High High“. Netizens eagerly awaiting to hear the collaboration track remarked, “So excited to hear Pixie Lott and Big Bang together,” “I can’t wait for the song to come out!”, “So curious as to how it will sound,” and “Buying this new album for sure!”  EXCITED!
March 8, 201213 yr Not really related to the album but I read that Pixie was very almost going to do Eurovision :o Apparently she was the choice until some woman (Katie Taylor, dunno who that is) decided against her and Engelbert Humperdinck was the last minute replacement. March 8, 201213 yr Shameful change of entrant. It's like Ireland deciding to send The Script and then changing to The Chieftans at the last minute, why switch somebody young and relevant for somebody completely irrelevant and ancient? :(
March 8, 201213 yr I doubt Pixie would ever do Eurovision! If she did, she would be a certain top 5 imo, she's got a fanbase in Europe. Edited March 8, 201213 yr by Lee123
March 8, 201213 yr I don't think she's really suited to Eurovision to be honest. Even her most poppy songs like All About Tonight and Kiss The Stars I don't feel aren't very Eurovision friendly. I would also be shocked if she was actualy considering doing it. She'd be the first relevant artist to do it in years and years, who knows how it would affect her career. March 9, 201213 yr I think she'd be in a position to resort to Eurovision if her next album did even worse than Young Foolish Happy...
March 9, 201213 yr I think she'd be in a position to resort to Eurovision if her next album did even worse than Young Foolish Happy... Well, maybe! Although I think the singles doing well keeps her head above water. I'd be all for her doing Eurovision if it seemed she'd never be big again but I'm not convinced this era is the end of her so I would be apprehensive!
March 9, 201213 yr When you look at others albums, people with low sales lose more money because they usually have artists writing their songs. Pixie wrote the majority of the album. Anyway I am glad All About Tonight is getting good airplay in Japan, I actually think All About Tonight could do well in USA with a guest rapper tbh, the song is really good pop.
March 9, 201213 yr Wow no guest rapper please! I mean yes there's a purely instrumental middle 8 where it could easily slot in but I can't see how a rapper would possibly sound good in All About Tonight. Edited March 9, 201213 yr by Umi
March 9, 201213 yr I guess with 'Glad You Came' currently in the top 5 of the Billboard 100, anything's possible for 'All About Tonight'?
March 9, 201213 yr You're right All About Tonight wouldn't do good with a rapper, I hope she releases her version and maybe have a rapper on the remixes or something. I do think All About Tonight could chart in the billboard top 100 though, she will get decent exposure tbh.
March 9, 201213 yr She actually DOES have a chance I think. All About Tonight has potential and if it does well then What Do You Take Me For? could be big too. After that though she's a bit stuck unless she tries some Turn It Up material. Still, I'm excited to see how the US campaign goes. I'm not expecting Glad You Came type success but it could still do decently!
March 13, 201213 yr Cant see AAT making any impact on the Billboard. They have plenty of alternatives out there and 80% are better than her. She should focus on sorting out her UK career before trying to launch an American one or we might just forget who she is.
March 13, 201213 yr All About Tonight is number 1 on the Japan international chart :D I was just away to say that, that's incredible. The sales in Japan are huge! I wonder if she's the first Uk artist to do that!
March 13, 201213 yr Sales in Japan are not necessarily huge. The three biggest music markets in the world are the US, UK and Germany according to OCC and Musicweek.
