According to the rumours on IMDb - she is. Kath Edit - they were just rumours apparently. She isn't. Edited December 12, 201113 yr by Kath

December 12, 201113 yr I can't wait, she's my fav character in the comics! I wonder when they're going to the prison, late season 2 perhaps? I've heard it's series 3. Think they'll stay on the farm for a few episodes at least, then probably an episode or two with them on the road. I have no idea though. I read they want to introduce a few of the new characters at the beginning of the next secind part of series 2 apart from Michonne.
December 29, 201113 yr Does anyone know when the terrestrial run of the first half of season 2 starts in the UK? Kath
December 29, 201113 yr Does anyone know when the terrestrial run of the first half of season 2 starts in the UK? Kath Can't imagine Five will start airing it until at least Easter time! I don't think there's a date set yet.
January 15, 201213 yr So we're GROWING. 6->13->16 :D HURRA. Less than a month until the next episode
January 16, 201213 yr Just got round to watching episode 7 a few days back.. Utterly brilliant, what a pay-off.. This show just gets better and better, and the way it slowly builds up to a crescendo is just absolutely marvellous, with the conclusion of episode seven being so incredibly shocking, but also tragic and moving, you wouldn't think you could feel sympathy for flesh-eating zombies, but the way it's written very deftly achieves just that, leaving us to ponder who the "monsters" actually are. It's so refreshing to see a series that treats its audience like adults and doesn't dumb things down or look for an easy way out.. Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Mad Men and Dexter are absolutely the best things on TV right now as far as I'm concerned, Boss and Homeland were both damn good too... Adult drama of the highest quality....
January 18, 201213 yr I've been behind but just finished catching up. Amazing twist at the end of episode 7, and beautifully shot and edited. This season has definitely made up for season 1, I'm hoping they're getting off the farm soon though as it's starting to drag a bit, but obviously they'll be a change of pace now anyway.

From various interviews I've read... they'll be on the farm a little bit longer. More to do with production costs. Although I am hearing that the action will pump up another level now. Rick vs Shane. I'm looking forward to seeing Hershel's reaction, and surely they've going to find out eventually Shane murdered Otis?

I'm glad Season 2 seems to be getting generally positive responses here on BJ - you wouldn't believe the amount of nitpicking and just plain trolling its getting on IMDb. There was an apparent 35% budget cut for season 2 - which is what seems to be peeing some genuine fans off - who are complaining that Season 2 isn't a patch on Season 1. The general feeling is that there is too much dialogue and not enough zombies. I'm certain I'm still going to wait until it comes to terrestrial TV in the spring (I'm just hoping they don't split it up). I've managed to watch a couple of episodes on Youtube (before they were cruelly removed) and Episode 5 was easily as good as any episode from the first season. Apparently Carol & Daryl will definitely become an item - just not sure if it is late in the second half of season 2 or early in season 3). I'm still not too sure what I think about this - as I'd rather Daryl remained a bit of a lone-wolf and not have a partner at all. In case I get just too curious to wait (about the whole show) what is involved in watching a show via 'streaming'? Yes I know that makes me sound like a muffin - but WTH - I am! I'm personally not too bothered about the change of pace tbh, it's been giving you a bit more time to really get to know the characters. And, i kind of think if you'd had endless zombie attacks, the final scenes in episode 7 would never have packed the sheer emotional gut-punch that they did... I think people need to realise that this show, and Kirkman's graphic novels, aint Romero....

I have this odd feeling they will kill Carl off before too long. Unless they have a time-jump, there's only going to be so long before his voice starts to break etc. - same issue with Walt in LOST. Shane will become the Guvnor. I'm 99.9% sure at this moment in time. And Norma streaming is basically just watching the show on the internet. The same way you'd watch iPlayer and ITV Player for example. No downloading involved, the video is just hosted on a site like Megavideo or Videobb. You just wait for the stream to buffer a little bit, so that it doesn't stop halfway through!

Shane? really? or do you mean Merle Dixon? because that's whats been hinted. which pisses me off to no end. it being Shane makes no sense.
January 19, 201213 yr See below (posted a response to the wrong bloody thread!!!) Old age - its a terrible thing - but I don't really fancy the alternative! Edited January 19, 201213 yr by Kath

I think people need to realise that this show, and Kirkman's graphic novels, aint Romero.... I agree entirely Grim. I've posted so much on the IMDb board - I like to see the character development and interaction - rather than wall-to-wall zombie splatting (which a lot of people on IMDb seem to want). My only criticism of Season 2 (and this is only from second-hand reports as I've only watched one episode first-hand) is that seven episodes WAS a rather long time to revolve around the search for one character (who up until the end of Season 1 - we'd hardly noticed anyway.) Having said that - the Barn reveal was excellent.

In the first half of season 2 he gradually went insane. The rest of the second half is said to see him go even worse. I imagine they'll kick him out of the group. I can't remember whether Shane knows that Rick knows about the affair? Basically I just think the writers (and Kirkman) wants to see Shane last as long as possible. Cos the guy who plays him has done a fantastic job so far, Emmy worthy imo.
