It's Confirmed! Delta To Release 'Together We Are One' As Single

Due to the overwhelming response of her performance at the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony, the song Delta Goodrem penned with Brian McFadden and Guy Chambers, 'Together We Are One', will now be released as a single. Get in stores everywhere on Saturday, April 1.

Delta's performance, which was watched by over 4 million viewers in Australia, was a highlight of the Opening Ceremony and an incredible moment for the singer/songwriter, who was thrilled to have been asked to take part in the event.

"I was so honoured to be asked to write a song for the Games and to take part in the event itself was such an amazing experience," said Delta. "When I sat down to write the song I was just hoping it was something that people would enjoy.

"It's my favourite kind of song to write and it?s a song for the athletes and all of us to come together and reach for our dreams and goals. I am just thrilled that people have embraced it."

'Together We Are One' is at radio now and a video is currently being completed, combining the performance with a montage of inspirational sporting highlights from The Games to date.
