I wouldn't call Dev dance though, she's more pop orientated to me :P

It was originally made when Bass Down Low came out and then I changed it to an album topic instead of having a separate one

Wow really? I think it's one of my favorites ever. But on first listen I was underwhelmed. It really is good once you have heard them two or three times. She has a very unique sound IMO, and it takes more then one listen to truly appreciate.

I was really surprised by how diverse the album turned out to be. 'Shadows' and 'Perfect Match' were wonderful surprises. She is in the perfect vein for the USA market right now. Just enough urban with just enough dance and pop.

 

I definitely wouldn't classify her in the DANCE forum. She is far from it.

I bought it the other week from HMV, gave me a broken case so I went back and swapped it and they gave me another f***ing broken case. I was fuming. In the end I swapped the case with one of my dad's :D Oh and Tyler, the US get new tracks when it's released in November :D

Love that! That's a huge improvement from the last couple of songs Enrique's done, and Dev's sounding great on it as well. Want this to smash already! :wub:

I was going to say it sounds generic but that sounds stupid, of course it is - Enrique on a Dev track is hardly going to be the epitome of innovation is it? :lol:

 

Quite liking it, I agree it's better than the past couple of Enrique tracks, though it's weaker than a few tracks on the released edition of Dev's album.

Which is no bad thing, I was referring to Dirty Dancer and I Like How It Feels when I said this was a return to form for the Iglesias. Tonight was generic as hell, but it was pleasant to listen to, had a good beat, and got played prominently at one of the best parties I've been to. Nah, the beat on Tonight was good, that was what was missing from Enrique's last few songs, a good beat.

 

I think I already prefer it to In The Dark, which was nice enough. Maybe not as much as Bass Down Low.

I thought on the otherhand, Bass Down Low was a bit bland :P

4 days late, but I guess this is the place to post Dev has had a baby girl, named Emilia Lovely. Aww.

Really liking 'Naked', already my favourite track that I've heard from Dev, and Enrique's best in a while too.

 

Released today in the US, not doing awfully, currently #56 on iTunes.

She needs to release 'Lightspeed' or 'Breathe' :(
