October 2, 201115 yr Author I guess it must have been close between the top two this week as Maroon 5 were the most downloaded track last week according to the Radio 1 site. Yes, Maroon 5 were #1 in the download chart it appears :o The download chart doesn't include digital EP sales though (for some reason) so Sak could still potentially be a few thousand ahead. Just thank the LORD Maroon 5 will only get #1 for one week on the chart that counts... -x- On a completely unrelated note, the best thing about the charts this week is by far Nirvana re-entering at #60 with Smells Like Teen Spirit. One of my favourite songs of all time. Two different 'fake' songs in the chart this week  The Cover Girl 'We Found Love' at #77 and My Hearts [sic] A Stereo 'Stereo Hearts' at #96. Edited October 2, 201115 yr by Bré

October 3, 201115 yr cool to see blink and nirvana both in the top 10 albums, shame they aren't higher. pretty good for blink though considering their last album entered at 22 in a time when music like them charted alot better and they had stronger opening single for the album. but i did wish they at least snuck into top 5.
October 3, 201115 yr Great for Sak Noel - The best #1 for ages. Had it on download about 3 months now. Also great for Goo Goo Dolls - Iris -- First released in 1998 it has been in & out of the Top 100 numerous times and far under-rated but peaked at #26 in 1999. October 3, 201115 yr Top 5 and a new peak is pretty high for a 20 year old album. The Stone Roses did the same thing with their 20th Anniversary edition two years ago! I wonder which other low-peaking classic albums could do similar...
