The former Savage Garden singer said that he is a huge fan of the star and was keen to help her work on a new album. He told Digital Spy: "I've never met Dannii, but I love her! She's so good on TV. I think she's allowed to do what Kylie can't do because she's a bit less guarded. "I was actually writing songs for Dannii - or rather I was trying to, but I don't think she got any of them. I met her management a while ago and I presented them with a load of songs that I thought would be perfect for her to release." He continued: "I think at the time the label wanted to go with something a bit cooler and lot more underground. She should make pop music like Robyn's - she could easily pull it off." Hayes's latest single 'Black Out The Sun' is out now. His new album Secret Codes And Battle Ships follows on October 17.

October 7, 201113 yr I dont think their styles are that similar at all (Robyn and Dannii). But I still wish Dannii would release music, anything really.
