Posted August 2, 200618 yr speakinng to MTV about there 25th birthday he said I never took dancing lessons, ive never taken one! I learned how to dance by watching Michael and Janet Jackson video's and trying to copy there moves. Im sure everyone agrees that they have had an impact on music and my music Beyonce Knowles was behind him, and agreed with his comments about the Jacksons. ------------------ just goes to show how iconic they are :wub: Do you think that Michael/janet would be where they are today without the help of MTV and music videos?
August 3, 200618 yr They inspired most of the artists from today's music. Especially the likes of Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Beyoncé Knowles and Ne-Yo amongst others.

August 3, 200618 yr Author Janet was the first MTV icon, so she probably appealed to both male and female as inspiration. Justin tries so hardto be MJ, it was obvious from the word go of his solo career. but I guess immitation is the sincerest form of flattery ^_^
August 4, 200618 yr Britney's dance moves are VERY VERY VERY Janet. I think Michael/Janet/Paula inveted the whole structure dance in the middle of a song. You know when the music would go down and it was just a beat.

August 5, 200618 yr And surely this is old news. Justin has compared to Michael for years and has performed with both acts before. Does anyone remember the NSync cover of 'That's The Way Love Goes'? Destiny's Child did 'Let's Wait Awhile' and I think Macy Gray did 'When I Think Of You' also for an MTV hall of fame event.
