i would not be shocked to see a new greatest hits coming out this time next year.
I think you're right. Seems TT's contract is finishing now and they need to publish new GH.

maybe towards the end of 2012 they will come together and start on a new album.

Maybe yes or maybe no.

Rob is going on solo tour but not in 2012. Then 2013 would be good choose to promote his new album.

No record label in their right mind would let TT's contract run out. You can bet that it has been extended a long time ago most probably after the success of BW.

It doesnt matter if Rob is touring or whether he is sitting at home TT arent dependant on Rob's involvement. Rob if anything will release the album around autumn and then do a few arena tours, dont expect to see a world tour like he has done previously, expect a more progress live type tour where he plays a couple of dates in 10 countries and then thats it.

But regardless of Rob's involvement (they dont actually need him to sell singles, albums or stadiums) I would be very suprised if we didnt see a new studio album released this time next year. I cant imagine a GH for a long while yet.

Arent Take That back to 4 now, so robbies new albums etc wont affect them, i think what will delay the new studio album is what mark, gary, howard and jason pursue, there is lots of rumours like gary doin a solo album and mark doin the voice but nothing is confirmed, even if the contract has run out i cannoy see take that changing labels and i certainly cant see the record company wanting to not renew their contract. There will be a longer gap waiting for this studio albums than previous but that me a good thing. Personnely i think they are gona take their tiume with the new album as they will be determind to prove themselves again as a 4 piece (not that they have to) but you can be sure when the time comes many reviews will mention that its the album without robbie etc.

With Robbie having a solo set as such on this live album I would agree there is increased potential Robbie Williams fans will buy this set alone for collectional purposes, this factor should increase sales that potentially the circus did not recieve. In contrast this live album does not offer as much as the previous live album so therefore, may not appeal as strongly to the Take That fans on this occasion. Additionally, in general most people are not fans of live albums and may be happy to just have one in their collection, plus many of the tracks on the upcoming live album also appeared on the previous set.

There is for and against for the album but I think it is safe to say it will not end up a flop.

I can't see it selling at much as Greatest Day Live cd, that had the acoustic sessions, whereas this is just the recording burned onto a disc, hope it does ok tho

I still believe 500,000 UK sales is highly achievable and certainly not out of the question for Take That. As the upcoming live cd is new and I have not heard it I as of yet can not carry out comparisons. However, the front picture sleeve used on the new album in my eyes is 1000 times better than that selected for the circus live cd. Id be interested to see if anyone else agrees or disagress with that.

I definately agree that the artwork on the CD is very classy and one of their best to date, saying that i do like The retro sort of feel to the GD live album.

I wonder where it will end up in the charts with Ndubz, Joe mcelderry, Olly out the same day and then Rihanna's second week sales

I think it will go top 5 and sell quite well although Olly, Rihanna etc will perform better which is understandable as live album overall dont out do studio albums.

I love the artwork and track listing too, i did love the circus live cd aswell but the bonus cd did nothing really for me as its not my style. Either way as i have said before im just delighted tobe getting another live cd, i love cd;s from good live artists/ bands and no one can deny how great take that are live.

As others have stated Live albums are known to not sell quite well, with the odd exception to the rule. Considering Take That have already a successful live album to their credit, I am wondering will having 1 live album be enough for many consumers, resulting in them opting to not purchase a new live album this time.

It has only come to light in my mind that the previous live album was released 2 years ago, up until this point my brain had observed it was only a year ago, not too sure how i got that mixed up.

Its hard to know really, i do think there will be a few fans of casual fans who wont buy this live album if they bought the last one, but then again if that happens i still believe enough people will still but it and it will at worst go platnum. I agree though this album will have the advantage of a few robbie fans buying it for his solo performances so i guess its like one marks the other out. I still think it will go top 10 at worst and more than likely higher and will manage 300,000 overall at worst, on saying that that i still feel double platnum isnt totally out of the question either.

Also if this album does manage 350,000 plus it will bring their album sells in the UK well past 11 million since they returned which is incredible.

11 million is just a massive achievment, an achievment that not many others have managed within the same time frame. Im assuming that collectively they have now sold more albums in the UK now this time rather than when they were originally together. Leaving phase 2 aside, does anybody know when combined what the first 3 studio albums and the original greatest hits collection sold in the UK.
I dont know exact sales, but i would say at a push 5 million Uk sales would be the most for take that and party, everything changes, nobody else and the greatest hits combined.
to date the GH's album has sold over 5 million copies now, apparently it was really high in demand in countries where they were touring this year. Everything Changes has sold a million in Germany as well now.
Do you mean the original greatest hits has sold 5 million worldwide or are you including the ultimate collection aswell. Im not sure of greatest hits sales in the uk but i do know the ultimate collection alone has sold over 2.1 million in the UK to date. Outisde the Uk im not sure how it done though, i know here in Ireland it never made higher than number 12 but has stayed in the top 100 for over 200 weeks, i know sales in ireland dont account for much but i would assume it has at the very least sold 100,000 which would be quite good for Ireland.

I mean the first Greatest Hits back in 1996. Technically speaking its been on sale for 15 years so the sales dont suprise me, but the NEver Forget version wasnt released in too many countries overseas, only the Greatest Hits was out worldwide.

Never Forget has probably sold another 100k collectively in the 3 or 4 countries they released it in, on top of the 2.1m in the UK.

This would result in the Original Greatest Hits release standing as their biggest selling album of their overall career wouldnt it?

im not sure, probably, how much as BW sold worldwide?

it has been out for 15 years and having TT break up, reform, BW europe tour and Rob returning and the progress tour have all contributed to it selling extremely well abroad.

To my knowledge Beautiful World maximum worldwide sales currently stand around 4 million.
Suppose that's about right baring in mind 3 million of those 4 were sold in the UK, and it sold 500k in Germany
