October 16, 201113 yr Author i don't understand this chart what is this? There have been nearly 5000 songs that have entered the Top 100 Airplay chart since 2002. This is the countdown to find out which of these songs have been the most successful during that period.

October 17, 201113 yr Author 250 - Scissor Sisters - Shes my man - 32,994 plays Love this song. Love the video. I dont understand why this failed so badly in the charts. The song is catchy, great airplay and the video is brilliant. Same with their other flop "Kiss you off". Another great track that deserved to do well. They dont seem to be that big these days but I still love them. HPwc-DpVFdc&ob Edited October 17, 201113 yr by Dannyboy
October 17, 201113 yr Author 249 - Scouting for girls - Heartbeat - 33,046 plays I bought the album based on their first 2 songs. I have no idea why because I have only listened to it about 3 times. Maybe its better than I thought and judge it to quickley. Maybe I should give it another chance but all the songs just sound the same. Still love this song though. P0kMLzrqf7g&ob
October 17, 201113 yr Author 248 - Saturdays - Higher - 33,083 plays I love The Saturdays. I like this. Ive always thought they had much better songs and much better album tracks than this. Dont even get me started on the pointless Flo Ride part. The video is just so cheesy, then again it is the sats lol. They really do deserve to be much bigger than they are. eEnz3r2F-Bw&ob
October 17, 201113 yr Author 247 - Liberty X - Being Nobody - 33,157 plays Liberty X. A pop group that had consistant airplay hits. Great songs but they always seem to annoy me in their videos. They just seemed to think they were cool as f***. Erm no, far from it. They were prob just smug since Hearsay got dropped lol. And lets be honest. Only 2 could of them were good singers and they only ever gave one of the other girls the "sexy talking" bits lol. I still liked them though and "Holding on to you" is still one of my fav songs ever. October 17, 201113 yr Author 246 - Hoosiers - Goodbye Mr A - 33,208 plays Dont really know much about this group. But I do like this song, its catchy enough. I prefer their other hit "Worried about ray". OeNNfS0ZTnU&ob
October 17, 201113 yr Never heard of the Scissor Sisters song. Guess it must really be a flop. Heartbeat is rather good, surprised it's above She's So Lovely, to be honest, I can remember the latter FAR more. :( One thing that keeps surprising me about this countdown is how well recent songs have done in it. Higher is a prime example (and especially When We Collide a few hundred below or so). I guess I'm so used to sales countdowns, I'm not used to seeing new songs hugely high up, and I'm forgetting that most of their airplay came around the time of their release. Also, I like the Flo Rida part. :kink: That Liberty X song... just an interpretation of Ain't Nobody then. I prefer Go. Goodbye Mr A. Hoped it would be higher, but I suspect Worried About Ray soaked up a lot of airplay. I do appreciate this countdown, I will say, Dannyboy. And I'm finding it a lot easier to comment now. ^_^
October 17, 201113 yr Author 245 - James Blunt - Wisemen - 33,495 plays I dont get his appeal. I cant stand his voice on this. I did like "Your Beautiful" like everyone else but beyond that, I just dont get it. cueB7j4ZGrM&ob
October 17, 201113 yr Author I do appreciate this countdown, I will say, Dannyboy. And I'm finding it a lot easier to comment now. ^_^ I must admit, I like doing my bit commentary too lol. I suppose I didnt want to do it at first becuase I didnt think people would care what I thought about a song. But I understand now thats its good to do becuase it gets people talking. And that Scissor Sisters song only made it to number 29 which is a shame becuase its a great song, great song and really good airplay. So really, there was no reason for it to bomb.
October 17, 201113 yr Author 244 - Lily Allen - Smile - 33,515 plays This girl can do no wrong in my eyes musically. I love her music and her last album was amazing. I even remember the first time I heard this song (Popjustice) and love it instantly. Loved her music every since. I hope she comes back soon with another great album. 0WxDrVUrSvI&ob
