Im very hit and miss with Usher. I like his more dance/pop orientated music rather than his RnB stuff. I do like this a lot though. The fact he thinks he is the next Michael Jackson really annoys me off though. He wishes.

Dont hate it. Dont love it. Its all a bit "meh" to me.

 

241 - Robbie Williams - Tripping - 33,937 plays

 

Im a huge Robbie fan. I have all his albums. Its very rare I dont like a song by him (Radio). This song isnt great in my opinion, especially not for a first single. Dont know how it did as well as it did. But as a Robbie fan, im happy.

 

I think he has been missing the mark a bit since "Intensive Care" but still great albums and still think he is great.

A great Robbie song. And a great video. I really want him to leave Take That as soon as possible. He is much better when he is solo.

 

 

239 - Oasis - Importance of being idle - 34,072 plays

 

I lost interest in Oasis a long time ago but I still liked them enough to take an interest in the material they released. This ia def a highlight for me. I love Noels voice on it. And I love the video too. Its a shame they have broke up but I think they ended on a high musically.

Who would have thought he would have lasted this long. Not me. Never really liked his that much until "Leave right now". He has gone from strength to strength since then(except "Switch it on"). I love this song and such a clever video.

 

 

237 - Chris Brown - Yeah 3x - 34,191 plays

 

Another Michael Jackson or to a lower extent Usher wannabe. I actually prefer Chris Brown to Usher. I thnk he is a better dancer and entertainer. Oh and he is fit as fook lol. I love the song and think it has a great video thats just fun and makes you just wanna have a good time.

I have no idea how this has done so well. Its just boring, bland and just brings nothing. He has done so much better. I cant even say I hate it. I have no feelings on it at all. Its that bad in my opinion.

Amazing song. Amazing group. Simply amazing. This should be higher in the list. I dont know how anyone could even dislike this song. The album is amazing too.

 

 

234 - Will.I.am - Heartbreaker - 34,703 plays

 

This song is so bloody repetative and I dont understand why it even needs to have the "feat" part. As far as im concerned this is Will I am and thats it. Then again it probably wouldnt have done half as well without Cheryl Cole being attached to it

I never used to be a Rihanna fan. I always thought of her as an average singer who struck lucky with being given good songs and a great stylist. I always liked her songs but thats about it. Then came "Rated R". Loved the singles and loved the look. And this song is just fantastic. I became a fan. Then "Loud" cemented it.

Yet another amazing song from Lily Allen. Thet isnt much I can really say becuase it would all be just positive. Her personality may not be great and she may have an attitude but I love her music.

Another upbeat Usher song I like. In fact its prob my fav Usher song. But thats not really saying much about his back catalogue since I only like a few of them anyway. I do really like this though.

 

230 - Kylie Minogue - Red blooded woman - 35,016 plays

 

Not a career highlight for me at all. I dont hate it but I certainly dont love it. I really dont understand why this was such a big airplay hit for her. I would say there were better songs on the album but in my opinion there werent. The only other song worthy of a single was "Loving Days". This is an average song from her worst album.

229 - Joss Stone - Super duper love - 35,224 plays

 

Whatever happened to Joss Stone. Was it really something as silly as an accent change lol. I was never really a big fan and this song is ok I suppose. Nothing great in my opinion.

228 - Leona Lewis - Run - 35,270 plays

 

I love this. Stunning version. This is my fav Leona song. I cant see her beating it either. Its rare a song is better than the original but in this case and in my opinion, it is.

 

227 - Blu Cantrell - Breathe - 35,381 plays

 

This song brings back some great memories. I love this song. I always thought Blu Cantrell looked very strange in the video though, especially her eyes.

 

Rude Boy (and Rated R) changed your mind on Rihanna then? Good to hear.

 

I actually remember hearing it after not hearing anything that I knew WAS Rihanna for ages (I'd heard Russian Roulette, but didn't know). Took a while until Loud, which was when I was getting into music for me to become a great Rihanna fan too.

 

Not Fair higher than Smile then. Interesting, at least, to see. Maybe being newer is actually helping these songs (More radio stations?).

 

And :o at you being critical of a Kylie song. :lol: I'm probably assuming a lot, but I assumed with your sig... Not heard it before anyway, and it's not the greatest.

 

ETA: Run and Breathe! Love the latter, and the former is a good enough cover (I consider both versions fairly equal). I had forgotten about Breathe completely, but pleasing to see it up here.
