October 14, 201113 yr Author Oh  Is 'Make You Feel My Love' her other entry in the top 500 then? You said she has 5, one of them is obviously Chasing Pavements, her three from '21' should all be there, so that only leaves MYFML if Hometown Glory isn't on there! That is correct. Make you feel my love is the other entry.

October 14, 201113 yr That is correct. Make you feel my love is the other entry. Well that's a bit of a shock as it only peaked at #38 in the airplay chart :o It did spend a long time in the top 50 though and presumably a lot longer in the lower half of the top 100 so I guess that's where all its plays have come from. Where did Hometown Glory finished? Very surprised it's the lowest of her singles.

October 14, 201113 yr Make you feel my love actually spent 51 weeks in the Top 100 1645. Hometown Glory (3,701 plays) 4783. Turning Tables (25 plays) Turning Tables should increase that tally significantly if it's the fourth single  Speaking of which, we still haven't heard any official news on what will be the fourth single, if there even will be one - although it took absolutely ages before the situation in the UK with SLY and SFTTR was confirmed. And of course the situation with the second single in the USA was very hazy for quite a while as well (and we don't really know what her third US single will be either but one would assume she'll follow the UK release pattern and put out SFTTR as the third single, especially with how well it's already doing there with practically no promotion at all). Not the most organised of album eras ever, but at least it's not as messy as 'Rated R' or '4'. And it's certainly not suffering sales-wise from the confusion  Edited October 14, 201113 yr by Bré
October 14, 201113 yr Hell a lot of current chart hits that had so few time to pick up are here... Olly's 'Heart Skips a Bit' and Will's 'Jealousy' to name two of them. It seems the newer songs have advantage over the older songs. I think it's due to a) Capital separating their airplay; b: more stations being registered.
October 14, 201113 yr 376 - Coldplay - Fix You - 25,211 plays What do you think of this song ? Should it be higher ? lower ? JI-o25K6B-E&ob Woo! best song ever    etc. its rather low though :o I suppose Speed of Sound, Viva La Vida & Every Teardrop... (that's still to come right?) beat it, but I'll be intrigued to know the other two
October 15, 201113 yr I remember "Love At First Sight" by Kylie was the most played of 2002 if I'm not mistaken. So she should probably be at the top 10 or 15. She also benefits from the fact that it had from 2003 onwards to gain plays. This is where it actually becomes the bigger hits so it's more exciting. I hope "Shiver" is very high, I like the song.

(that's still to come right?) beat it, but I'll be intrigued to know the other two Surely the other two would be In My Place and Clocks? IMP was #1 for 2 weeks in August 2002. Clocks didn't get to #1 but it was certainly a strong radio hit and was up against some big radio hits like Christina Aguilera and Room 5. I had no idea that all these random dance hits were getting so much support from the radio in 2002 - Shakedown, Moony, Milky (I ADORE this one, totally forgot about it until like a year ago), Divine Inspiration, Oakenfold!! I know that a lot of the reality TV/Pop Idol hits weren't getting played much on radio at the time though so something needed to fill up the playlists I guess.
